Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandRoof top swimming pool was not available. Not so many options for lunch or dinners, but there are few nice restaurants close to the hotel which we decided to test.
Our stay in Grand Josun we very pleasant. The hotel is nicely located on the hill, so expect some walking. The coast and the beach are around 20-25 minutes walk. The staff was very friendly, continuously offering help. The breakfast was very good, although can be a bit crowded in rush hours. The pool, hot spring and sauna are available with no limits. The pool could be deeper though. There is Nice to CU shop opened long hours at the hotel.

A resort hotel with great facilities. Room is spacious (we were in standard room). Room is very clean and modern. Great view . Location is close to many tourist places and restaurants.

Franceit's a nice place for families but a little bit far by walk to the restaurants and bars. and I tried to walk to Jungmun Saekdal Beach but couldn't reach it.
The facilities were looking great with the pools open until late in the evening. I spend a good time at the rooftop bar thanks to the nice staff who let me use the pinball game.

FranceI recently had the pleasure of staying at Grand Josun Jeju, and it was, without a doubt, the best hotel experience I've ever had. From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was pleasantly surprised by the proficiency of the staff in English, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free experience. The breakfast at Grand Josun Jeju is a real treat - a sumptuous spread with a variety of options to cater to all tastes. Additionally, having a convenience store right inside the hotel was extremely handy, especially for those little things you might need at a moment's notice. One of the most amazing surprises was receiving a complimentary room upgrade. This unexpected gesture added an extra layer of luxury to my already fantastic stay. I wholeheartedly recommend Grand Josun Jeju to anyone looking for top-notch accommodation on the island. Its proximity to the waterfalls is just another reason to choose this hotel. Everything about my stay was perfect, and I can't wait to return!

PolandEnglish language skills of the staff is the only thing that could be improved. We did experience some communication problems, but despite that everyone tried to be as helpful as possible.
One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was impeccable, overall quality much better than in most 5* European hotels. Probably the highest quality buffet breakfast I’ve ever had, serving fresh Korean, European, and Chinese food. Great views from the adults-only rooftop pool with heated water!

AustraliaOur aircon wasn't working throughout the trip, there is a panel on the wall that you can "control" the temperature, but it was perpetually stuck on 26 degrees celsius which was too warm for us, especially at night (and it didn't feel or sound like there was any air coming out of the vents), so we had the doors open. We rang the reception about this and although they sent someone up to initially look, that guy said we would receive a call from the manager and we never did.
We loved our stay here, the grounds are beautiful and staff are very friendly. The rooms are really nice and spacious, clean and comfortable. Our water and coffee pods were refilled daily which was great. My favourite part was the convenience store just next to the lobby! It was so handy, we went twice a day to get snacks or supplies. The rooftop bar/pool is adults only and the pool is heated, it was such a nice place to chill in the afternoon.

FranceTraveling in South Korea for the first time, our schedule was jam packed for 2 weeks. We wanted a quiet place to rest for a few days, it was largely met at the Grand Josun. The staff is available for any questions, polite and absolutely lovely. As for the hotel, there is so much to do you can not be bored, the room are splendid and amenities of good quality. Thank you for this amazing stay.

NetherlandsNothing. Everything is perfect during our stay.
We stayed here with our 3-year old and every aspect of the hotel was perfect during our stay. They have everything you need for your kid, from kids shampoo & lotion, super cute kids bed (including welcome toys), little steps so she can use the sink herself, and all other stuff you can borrow like strollers or extra air purifiers. They have all the family rooms on the same kids floor and the kids club is also on the same floor. Our daughter loves spending hours in the kids club with books, bricks to build, small slide with the ball pool. The garden pool has all the kids swimming vests in different sizes that you can just grab and put it on. Everything is super clean and staff is great too! We wanted to hike Hallasan so had to book a taxi for the early morning, the staff helped us with that and also answered our questions about hiking possibilities with the weather conditions. There is a convenience store just downstairs that has everything you need. Out of the resort there are also lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Would love to stay here again if we go visiting Jeju island next time.

NetherlandsThe prices of food and drinks in the various dining/bar locations of the hotel were quite expensive.
The entrance of the hotel is amazing, and luckily it wasn't just a pretty facade; the rest of the hotel was as amazing. The room was extremely spacious, bed is comfortable and housekeeping did a fantastic job cleaning the room every day. There is a 24/7 convenient store next to the hotel entrance, so good for snacks during the day. Did not regret booking this hotel! Wish we could go back and enjoy the rooftop pool!

United StatesThe facilities have aged and need some maintenance. For example, we went out onto one of the public verandas, and one of our kids stood on the wooden bench to get a better view. The wood on the bench was completely rotten, and the bench immediately collapsed. No one was hurt, and the front desk immediately sent maintenance to remove the collapsed bench. Also, we were not fans of the overpriced breakfast. We didn't have breakfast included in our room rate but decided to have the hotel's buffet breakfast on our last morning. The hotel charged almost USD $200 for two adults and two small children. The buffet was good but definitely not worth what they charged!
The service was excellent! The staff were friendly and responsive to all of our needs and requests. We enjoyed the live music in the atrium every evening. There's a well stocked convenience store on the property that we visited at least once a day.
