Food superb, cakes, cookies, pastries all very well made. Staff super supportive, they helped me buying ticket online patiently. Room comfortable, coffee bar super trendy. Relaxing atmosphere. Coffee downstairs wasn’t available until 10:30am, which is a little late for Aussies. The clear glass door to WC and shower was a surprise, but it did make the room feel larger.

Spaciousness and design. Location was a big bonus. Breakfast and coffee/tea making facility was also better than expected.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in and THE BEST hotel of the 8 I stayed in on my trip. I almost don’t want to express how amazing my experience was as it likely means the hotel will be too popular for when I want to return. However, the design of the hotel rooms, the bathroom and attention to detail is exceptional. The cleanliness of the hotel is outstanding. And the experiences such as the breakfast delivery, the personalised gifts, the food and drink available in the mini bar etc is priceless. I appreciated the request to take off your shoes when entering, and how comfortable the room immediately made me feel as well as how accommodating and friendly the staff were. If I could stay at this hotel over and over again, I would. Also the drinks from the cafe are great.

We liked everything!

There were so many thoughtful little touches. For example, the handwritten note when we arrived, stationary that we got to keep, picnic basket breakfast, and lots of things around the room that promotes local business.

- The temperature in the room can be a little hard to control.

Every morning, there's a breakfast basket outside your door. It's simple, but delicious and enough to get you through the morning. There's water, coffee beans and some snacks in the room that are restocked during housekeeping. The room was big and clean. Bath robes and enough towels were provided, and the bathtub was stocked with MALIN+GOETZ products. The general manager runs an Instagram account (@checkinbusan) with great local tips, and very kindly helped us get a reservation at a restaurant nearby. There's a lot of good spots within walking distance, and access to public transportation is also very easy!

we loved everything about this property. the staff were welcoming & helpful, the cafe downstairs is a brilliant addition & it smells amazing! The room was gorgeous, brilliantly designed and had special classy touches like a gorgeous vinyl player, speaker, all different ways to make a tea or coffee and our favourite has got to be the art supplies provided.

This hotel was so charming. All the little touches like the memory books, maps and history of the area. A great thing was the built in universal adaptors as Korea has sunken outlets that don’t always suit our Australian global adaptors. Loved this feature! The bed and pillows were also super comfy and the location was so convenient. The staff were very helpful with suggesting restaurants and things to do. Breakfast was also delicious. It was a wonderful room to relax in as well as we had a couple of rainy days that weren’t optimal for outside adventuring

Everyone working at the hotel is exceptionally nice, polite, and helpful! Having genuinely friendly staff (not the stiff, perfunctory politeness I often encounter at Sofitel and similar hotels) put me and my husband in a great mood during our stay. Due to poor navigation on my part, I was hopeless lost while finding the hotel and its parking. There are many one-way streets and it can be a bit challenging. I called front desk and the nice young lady offered to come and meet us and did. She rode with us to the hotel parking. By the way, it should be noted that the parking is across the street in a private parking facility. Once I new its location, it was easy getting the car in and out everyday. The hotel has a fantastic cafe right by the front desk. Everything there is delicious. The baristas are friendly and the coffee menu is exceptional. The hotel has a nice, clean, slightly retro vibe. We enjoyed walking through the cafe/lobby to access the elevator. The room was well designed, clean, and comfortable. We liked the extensive use of wood in the room. The shower pressure was good. The bathroom was spotless, and a big plus was the Dyson hair dryer! The hardness of the mattress was just right. The hotel delivers a simple but delicious breakfast every morning around 8:30a. I don't enjoy an American breakfast typically, so the continental breakfast consisting of scones, yogurt, etc. was more than sufficient. The room has a manual coffee grinder and equipment for pour-over coffee and also has excellent loose leaves tea. The location was great as it was close to the main roads. If the travelers are into shopping, there is a nice mall nearby. The street with various shops is only about 5 to 6 minute walk from the hotel. There are multitude of restaurants nearby as well. My husband and I plan on returning to Busan next year and plan on staying here again.

Breakfast starts only at 8.30am which is quite late for autumn/ winter as the day turns dark fast and we want to maximise the little daytime we got to visit more places.

The small details that the hotel paid attention to makes you feel special. The cafe serves great drinks.

The detail put into the aesthetic of this property and the experience created for the guests is exceptional. We’ve travelled across South Korea and this is by far the best hotel we visited. The staff and wonderfully helpful and very welcoming too!
