Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

SingaporeThe aircon and light control a bit confusing. Trying to control the temperature in the room but the heater does not turn on. And some light switch don't know which one is turning on or off.
Its in the shopping area district. Many food shops outside. Got bus stop outside straight to airport.

South KoreaThe furniture is pretty dated. Walls are fairly thin so you can hear the traffic outside. The housekeeping department use the same elevator as the guests, and since there seems to be only one elevator, I had to wait in order to check out to get the elevator going down. I asked the front desk staff about using buses to get to get to beach, and I discovered that she could barely speak English. We had to use a translator app. Due to limitations communicating, I ended up following her directions badly, and wasted about an hour of my limited time at a bus stop. No bus arrived, and I abandoned my plan to visit the beach. I wish I had known that buses would be so irregular.
It’s pretty close to the airport.

No breakfast due to the Covid situation. The location was on point and the bus stops were just opposite the hotel and it made my move easy and stress-free.

KazakhstanThe daily cleaning includes only garbage collection, towels were not changed in 4 days. Just fold and put in their place. Once the door was left unlocked. These are very small nuances, in general, everything was fine.
Good location. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. Close to airport so convenient. The staff were kind and took into account our preferences when choosing a room. Тhe room and bathroom was generally clean.

South AfricaNot much. I would have appreciated some teaspoons. They have cups and a kettle with no teaspoons, also complimentary teabags would be nice. It rained a lot there, it would have been good to enjoy a cup of tea with the view.
The hotel is very close to the airport and very close to bus stops. I didn't have a car so this was very important. Also the cleaning lady was just amazing. She made my day everytime she came to my room.
