Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very nice room. The private indoor swimming pool was nice to take a quick swim before the check-out. The staff at reception/ the cafe where really nice. In the morning we got a very good sandwich with a coffee/juice at the cafe.

NetherlandsVery well located in the centre of Gyeongju, at walking distance from all highlights. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Our room had a private pool. Although it was not hot as in summer, it was ideal to cool down and relax after intense visiting during the day. Communication in Korea is not easy. Nevertheless, the staff are super friendly and helped us with everything: setting the washing machine, booking a taxi and many other questions about the village in general. The breakfast, though it was just a homemade sandwich + coffee/juice was excellent.

BelgiumThe description on booking says there is a pool. This is misleading. A few rooms have a private pool. Check when booking.
We liked the hot tub in our room (soaking tub not a jacuzzi with jets). We liked the space. The staff were delightful and helped us in every way possible. The location is good next to the Silla tombs. Also near to many restaurants. This is a charming town well worth prowling around. A bus can also take you to other tourist destinations.

The hotel is conveniently located just across the tumulus park. It is very clean and modern. The check-in was not very easy as we couldn't check-in before 3pm and couldn't check-in after 6pm (we were eventually able to do it around 7pm but we had to rush at the end of our day...). Breakfast does not offer a lot of choices either.
