Had to bring my luggage upstairs.

Walking distance within Intercity bus. We didn’t have to take a bus/taxi from the bus terminal. Location is near some convenience store and some restaurant (e.g. kalguksu). Walking distance from Fish Market. Cleanliness was top notch. James was helpful.

The breakfast is basic toast and sweet cereal but what we expected.

This is a great value. So cheap and still so high-quality. You have your own bathroom with a great shower, and free breakfast. The rooms are clean and the beds are new. The location is also very convenient as you are very close to buses going to Soeraksan national Park, and anywhere else in the town. It’s within walking distance of the town market place. The family that runs the hotel is very helpful and the son speaks very good English.

It's a called a hostel but I got my own hotel room! Decent enough location and James is a great host giving you information on what there is to do and how to get anywhere you need would deffinately stay here again!

The hostel is very close to the Intercity Bus Terminal which is very convenient when travelling with luggage and James is a very forthcoming host. The room was exactly as expected. 👍

Despite noise being formally prohibited after 11 pm, there has been noisy movements in the corridor - but it's only attributable to the guests.

Ideal location with ideal host, speaking fluent English and at your disposal for any question. James indicated how to make the most of our journey given our amount of time and directed us through transport as well.

The place is utilitarian and starting to look a bit tired, but remains clean.

A good, centrally located option with basic, clean and comfortable rooms. A simple free breakfast is provided as well as a communal seating area. James is always friendly and helpful.

Best part is James himself. I would love to get back here again. Very hospitable The location is great too. Just a couple of blocks walk to the intercity bus terminal. The room was cozy.

Only one thing..That night the heater did not feel and I did not find the temperature control switch. I can't sleep well because i feel quite cold all the night.Blankets are not able to warm my body with a temperature of 2'c..If I diligently go down and ask the staff maybe they can help.But it was quite late at night and it was not comfortable to disturb them. All. The Environment, Cleanliness, View from the corridor and the water heater is good even though it is on the top level of the 3rd floor. Simple English breakfast is quite good too. Take around 10 minutes to Fisheries Market and Abai Village Jetty by walk. Near to 7 eleven and bus stop. Only take 3-4 minutes. They also provide Toothbrush,Hairdryer and standard size dressing table with big mirror. As a woman it's a little lonely if you walk alone at night.But walking in Korea, I feel safe.The owner and staff is very helpful and friendly. Will stay again in others season. TQ so much ❤️

Great location a stones throw from the bus terminal and a short walk to the market. Owner was extremely attentive and friendly and communication was good. Extremely reasonable price point and clean room. Will definitely be back next time I go to Seoraksan!

James and his staff were extremely friendly, it was a pleasure to meet you all. The property was well maintained, with good heating inside rooms for a cold November and good bathroom facilities. The beds were comfortable and there was a great light breakfast included.

Breakfast was a bit weak (for european standards). Toastbread, jam and coffee. But as in Korea that is the standard, I can‘t really complain. Oh... and many mosquitos.

The room I had was spacious and comfortable. There was a little meeting room to meet fellow travelers. I checked in at 11pm without any problem.
