The elevators are not set up to have designations for which floor the elevator will travel too. Therefore, during heavy chec-in and checkout times it is impossible to find an elevator that is empty. Many families must carry their luggage all the way up the many floors of the building. The hotel should arrange for the elevators to only serve floors 1-4, 5-8, and 9-11.

I do not recommend the breakfast. However, the location of the hotel to the High1 resort is very good. The hotel offers a shuttle to the mountain. But be warned the shuttle fills up quickly so plan to be in the line well before the shuttle arrives. The rooms are clean and have what you will need. There is not a microwave in the room.

the ski shuttle is very small. at the end of the day, the line to go back to the hotel was over 1 hour long. the front desk was helpful but not friendly. the breakfast was not very fresh or well stocked. I recommend bringing your own food for breakfast.

There's a train that went by several times that was so loud it shook the windows. It was cool to see but would probably bother a lot of people. In the morning when we were getting ready to leave, I couldn't get any hot water. When I would turn the sinks to hot, nothing would even come out.

The check-in and out process was the simplest I've had anywhere. Our room was spacious and comfortable.

The location was great. The parking garage was big. The room was nice because our child had their own bedroom and we liked having a kitchen and living room area. We liked that there was a GS25, a coffee shop, restaurant. and other things on site. It was convenient. Staff was friendly.

No toiletries provided in the room. They do provide towel but it is just a pretty small size towel. There’s a convenience store in the lobby level, you can buy the toiletries that you might need but with very limited selection. Housekeeping is not provided on a daily basis. It will only be provided upon request. I stayed there for one week and requested for housekeeping for 2 times. Mattress is not that comfortable but it’s acceptable.

For skiers, it is a great place to stay. There’s a ski rental shop in the lobby level. The flow of completing the rental process is very smooth and efficient. The hotel also provide free shuttle bus to ski mountain, which is a 5-minute ride. The hotel also has a nice sauna on the 3rd floor, which costs krw 8000 for adults and krw 5000 for kids. It’s a treat for yourself to relax in the sauna after a day of skiing. If you don’t get used to wash your hair and body with a soap, make sure you bring your own toiletries. The shower area in the sauna only has soaps available and have to share with other users! Room is very clean. Parking is free. I parked my rental car in the underground parking and the parking spot there is smaller than those at outdoor.

there was a smoke smell lingering in the hallways and the rooms were so hot. we tried to lower the temperature but it wouldn’t go down. for the price, they only provided one bar of soap. nothing else.

Many cars parked incorrectly in car park blocking passage which made getting in and out very difficult and despite informing staff of this issue, nothing was done. Room and overall conditions of property is very run down and tired looking. Most disappointingly, the room that was provided at check in was very different to that advertised on the website as it showed a bedroom and living room with 3 beds but I only got a single room with 2 beds.

When I can't find my room anywhere in the hotel, and the staff refused to show me, help me find it. In the room, there are no shampoo, conditioner, body wash in the room. I called to the service center and they refused to give me. The room on the following days had no hot water, and the staff refused to come and help me fix it. The door in the bacony is also stuck, and I don't want to call them for help any more. So disappointed

Mayhills is a perfect spot to stay when you go skiing at High 1. Very convenient because there is a ski rental shop on-site and a free bus to take you to and from High 1. They also provide fresh towels every day.

There is a train rail next to the hotel so you will hear trains passing really close by. I wish we had more amenities like shampoo or at least water in the fridge.

The staff was really nice! They let us choose between bloor bedding or regular beds and even upgraded our room for free! The facilities are clean, elevator ir fast and room as spacious and clean! Loved the stay.
