Breakfast is great in Talovo Restaurant!!!

The design of the water taps ay the washing basin. It was extremely frustrating. I don't know why it was designed in a way where you had to clutch your entire hand to open it. I found it difficult to control the flow. I really hope something can be done with the design of the taps.

Breakfast was fabulous. I loved eating breakfast at The Executive Lounge as it was more private but the selection was limited which was a downer. The staff were excellent. Everyone was really nice and polite and made me feel welcome. The lady (I forgot to get her name) was great with directions and she advised me exactly how to get to a place making me feel comfortable taking the subway. The guys were gentlemen and helped me with the luggage and were really nice to send me off into the cab on my last day.

Steak restaurant on the second floor has a restriction of 10+ years old, so we missed the opportunity to have a dinner there with our 8 y.o. son…. Very disappointed!

JW Marriott is great as always! We liked every details from the first step in till check-out. Breakfast is amazing with super wide selection of different cuisine (Asian, European, American).

Abit dated. Not expecting access to netflix, but not being able to connect to a smartphone is challenging. Also did not expect to have to pay for the use of sauna. Maybe it is common in South Korea, I am not sure.

Hotel located just next to one of Dongdaemun subway entrances. Near four shopping malls. Easy check-in and check-out. Great view from each rooms.

Air con noise is so loud. I can't sleep well. Also the smell of leather finish, I am not sure how it is so strong in the room. Overall experience in the hotel room was not that good.

Having to leave the room key to borrow an umbrella made me think that the hotel doesn't trust its guests.

Breakfast was fantastic, with a huge variety of choices. And the warm food was of very high quality.

More amenities could have been provided - for etc. complimentary use of the pool. It’s the first time we have stayed at a hotel and was told that the pool access is chargeable.

It was incredibly convenient as there is a direct access to the train station from the hotel. This made it very pram and family friendly for us. The beds were also fantastic & clean, which made the stay that much more enjoyable. Toilets were also in fairly good condition.

Furniture is a bit old. House keeping could do better.

The beds were very good. 2 good sized double beds. Soft but very good support. I don’t feel it when my partner turns in the middle of the night.

needs some post Covid work. wonderful pool shower nit clean. The design flaw of not having any capacity for natural ventilation means that the chlorine in the pool is corroding everything and there is a lot of rust.

Unfortunately, the noise coming into the first room we stayed in caused us a few sleepless nights. However, the hotel staff moved us as soon as we raised this. Dongdaemun malls like DOOTA were pretty much empty, not the atmosphere that we were expecting.

The staff and the hotel decor were very good. Hotel was conveniently located for taking public transport to many places across Seoul.

we were informed after check in that breakfast closes at 9, and not 10. I have never stayed at any hotel that closes breakfast at 9. and with the jet lag, I missed many breakfasts.

There is nothing that I didn't like.

The breakfast buffet had a nice selection of foods from Korea and Japan and a western selection. There is very easy subway access. It is very walkable to local culture.

Nothing! It was fabulous.

The hotel was beautiful and our room was spacious and comfortable. It was spotlessly clean and we enjoyed our stay very much. We stayed with our young boys (3 and 1) and they loved the hotel also. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We contacted them with questions before our trip and they always replied with in-depth and helpful replies. When we were there there they always greeted us with a smile and was so kind to our children. The location is also fantastic and close to many wonderful markets. The breakfast buffet was very varied and delicious. We will definitely stay here again when we are in Seoul!

Lovely modern hotel with great rooms and a really good location. The staff were charming and so helpful. Great pool and nice to have the Executive Lounge option (although you would be a fool to miss the breakfast in the main restaurant) - and the view over the East Gate is spectacular at night. Has direct access to the subway station from the lower lobby - which is a handy connection for just about everywhere.
