We received a warm welcome during check in. The rooms were perfect for our stay in Busan, clean and quiet (despite being steps away from Haeundae street food street!). Mama’s Guesthouse is a few minutes walk from the beach, the subway and the intercity bus terminal (which is perfect).

It can happen in Korea and we were aware but since this was not found in the comments for this hostel before, did not know that this hostel will required to put our used toilet paper in a bin rather than in the toilet. I think it is a wrong information display on the website on booking when I checked since it was advising laundry included but this is not correct. If you need, this will be 3 streets away from the hostel. But these items are really little things that did not impact our good appreciation of our stay at Mama Guesthouse !

The staff, Steven, was really friendly and welcoming! He explains us the facility and share some tips also for our stay at Haeundae. The room was quiet and bed was comfy. Was able to also have early check in so this was really great since we had our heavy backpack with us.

I was a solo travel, so it wasn't much of a problem, but I think for a couple, it might have been a little bit too small. Also, you should know to expect that the toilet paper should not be thrown in the toilet and there is no separation between the shower head, sink, and toilet area. which is quite common in the korea, though.

The staff was amazing, considerate, and approachable. I ended up asking for what spice should i bring back home from the trip. All you can ask for. The location was great. The price was fair.

It was very close to Haeundae beach- which I spent my last half day here- exploring. Steven the host was very informative - I appreciated his prompt responses to my questions & also he was very helpful in how I would get to Gimpo Airport for my flight to Jeju. All the rules of the facility were explained - which I appreciated bc it is my first time to Korea. I also think the rules are to keep the facility in great condition- which as any business owner would want. He takes a lot of care of the guesthouse & it is evident that his attention to detail has been working. The shower products were amazing ! Thank you so very much for making my stay in Busan less complicated & also for the storage of my luggage pre check in & post until my transport to airport.

I had a lovely time in MAMA Guesthouse and wish I could have stayed longer! The rooms were very comfortable and I was relieved to be able to adjust the temperature manually in the room during springtime in Busan. The water from the sink and the shower was strong and warm. The lounge area was very inviting and quiet yet it was also okay to chat with others and socialize. Special thanks to Steven for waiting for me to check-in despite my late flight and for making sure the guesthouse experience was smooth throughout my stay there!

Excellent location in Haeundae, close to the beach, the train station and food vendors. The host Stephen was very helpful and even fixed our toilet within a few hours when it stopped flushing. There was also a common room with kitchen facilities for guest use. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Busan.

I actually did initially not realize, that Haeundae is quite far away from Seoul train station and some of the nain central sites (e.g. Gamcheon village) with a long underground commute - but thats nothing to blame the guesthouse for. It was really a good stay ther.

Nice Guest House; Stayed in a quiet private functional room and had a very good sleep. Responsive host how gives also travel tips and recommendations. Central location in the heart of Haeundae, close to food street and beach and Haeundae underground station.

The property’s location is the selling point! Close to the beach, promenade, restaurants and bars. The room itself is clean but very small.

Room was very cramped, esp the bathroom and the walls are not soundproof. Could hear the couple in the next room talking even with my earplugs on.

Great location to restaurants, convenience store, traditional market, subway and walking distance to haeundae beach. Amenities as expected for the price I paid. Also can get new towels and plastic bags from the common room. There's also water available at the common room.

No place to put clothes

Location was perfect, you have a market if you turn left, and lots of restaurants and coffee shops/bakeries around it. 5 minutes and you will be at the beach or the subway. The structure is clean, and very organized for all the necessity. Staff was helpful and kind
