Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe location might be a little tough for Seoul, but I prefer to be near the Airport Railroad since it has express trains to Seoul Station (KTX) and Incheon Airport (for quick sleep after flight), and it's not ridiculously in the middle of nowhere such as hotels at Incheon Airport (there are lots of shops and establishments nearby). The hotel is a little lacking on amenities compared to other hotels of a similar stature. A microwave would be useful to reheat food. But I enjoyed the remote controlled lights and television. Also having hooks for clothing everywhere would be good. There's nowhere to hang a coat in the main room or bathroom, and nowhere to put a wet towel.
Cheap for what you get. The location is good for those who need to go back a forth between the Airport and Seoul. The staff are very good and friendly.

ChinaPerhaps the hard bed is uncomfortable for some, but I managed to sleep. Transfer from the subway is only 300 metres but bad sidewalks there make it cumbersome. No breakfast that I could see, and local restaurant cater to the nighttime party crowd. I was looking forward to beef Bulgogi, not a Mc breakfast 850 m away.
The heated floors were a feature that you would not find outside Korea, I would think. The room was clean and efficiently designed. A welcome find after a long flight even though transfer by AREX and subway is 45 minutes.

The room was cozy! They have free water and all. It's also close to the restaurants, convi stores and we just walked to the stadium and park. Had a great time!

South KoreaValet parking, large, clean room. The staff was exceptional. They printed off my COVID test results that had been emailed to me. I had difficulty finding the hotel using the directions from the Booking.com app. I called the hotel and they sent me the address in Korean so that I could put the address into Naver. Upon my arrival, I was given a room upgrade for my trouble!

location is very good. Place is very clean, staffs ask me if i want my room cleaned up. Also staff lent me their big umbrella when there was heavy rain. I like how the hotel manages hygiene really well. There was not at all bugs in the room versus many other hotels, I could find dust, spider webs, bugs, fruit flies and mosquitos. I find thatosquitos fly well via vents in the bathroom from outside in most properties in Korea (one rooms, villas, short buildings) but Hotel Caocao is able to keep its rooms dust-free and bug-free. Very nice to have stayed for 3 weeks in Cacao. PLEASANT!
