Our twin room was rather small and had no furniture apart from beds and small desk - no place to put your clothes, we kept it on the floor.

Great location - town center 100m walk to Olleh Market with great local food selection. Rest is fairly standard - big 10 stores hotel in the town center, reasonably comfortable but nothing special. 24h reception, breakfast available but rather pricey, 13000 KRW. WiFi OK, not very fast but working. Our room was on 10th floor so quiet. Bright room lighting, Small fridge and A/C working quietly.

The bedding was clean, however there were a few marks on the walls where it looks like people squashed mosquitoes. So I was happy enough with the cleanliness but a little extra would make it perfect :)

The value for money is fantastic. I wish there were more places that offered rooms like this! I stayed in a single room for six nights and was very happy with how the small space was laid out, it was very usable. The room had a lovely big window with insect screens so there were no issues with mosquitoes. The location was great as every place I wanted to go on the island had a bus running right outside the hotel, just a minutes walk - it was very convenient for someone relying on public transport! There are also quite a few attractions within walking distance which was great.

Breakfast was expensive. The room was very small. We booked small budget room, but it's worth mentioning how small it was still. With our bags the room was full and you had to climb over one another. I'm never a fan of when beds are again a wall so one person is trapped. If a room can't fit the bed make it a single.

The hotel is near to Seogwipo Olle Market, I had dinner there almost every night! Also, it’s close to the bus and some tourist spots. It’s also near Starbucks and there’s really a lot of good restaurants near the hotel. The staff is also helpful! I don’t have a socket for my phone and bought a wrong one. The staff was kind enough to let me use a charger but of course for a fee (but don’t worry, it’s refundable! Also, I love how there’s a washing machine! I stayed there for 5 nights and glad I was able to wash all my clothes before leaving. It’s 4,000 won per wash and per dry. 😊 If you’re on a budget, I gladly recommend that you stay here in this place. 😎 Lastly, you can store your luggage after check out so you can check out more places before your flight back home. :)

Heater/ aircond

Overall the facilities were great except the heater/ aircond system did not work well during my stay. And we were having issue to communicate with the staff. Understood that language barrier, but i think the hotel staff should make effort to entertain our need. Since it’s the year to visit Korea, you should anticipate that more tourist will visit. Just use Papago maybe so all of us can communicate better?

Not really a problem, but I was there at the end of November and the room was so well heated that at some points it almost felt too warm. But I guess some might even see this as an advantage. It did not bother me too much, so I did not ask to lower the heat, but probably it might have been possible. Anyways this is just a tiny thing and overall the hotel was great!

The price/performance ratio for this hotel was excellent. It was really clean and the location was super convenient. It is central and right next to a bus stop for local buses and just a short walk to other buses (i.e. the ones that go to the airport, and for hiking the Hallasan mountain, Seongsan Ilchubong, Yakcheonsa temple etc.), the Olle market is just around the corner and literally thousands of cafes, eating places etc. are also located nearby/next to it. Great place to stay if you want to explore more of the island, but also want to be in the town with all it's proximity. I also had a great communication with the reception staff and had a lot of good tips about what to do and see from her! :) The rooms are small, but not as small as i had expected from the other reviews. At least when it comes to the single room, the bathroom was decently sized and I had enough room for my luggage in the main room. It was also cleaned daily and water bottles were replaced regularly. The bathroom is Korean type i.e. the shower part is not divided fom the rest of the bathroom, but that is not an actual issue. The most hotels/guest houses have it like that and you just have to remeber that the floor will be wet after taking shower (for this there are bath slippers).

The walls are really thin so you can hear the person next door snoring. The staff aren’t very friendly. The mozzis are really bad (not the hotels fault) but if you stay be sure to bring repellent

There is no chain door lock. This is quite essential for security reasons. Shower area has no partition to the toilet.

Excellent location in the heart of Seogwipo. Great connectivity by bus to all locations that I wanted to go. Clean and comfortable. No room service but self-collection of towels and water daily from the reception. Staff could understand basic English. The view from by 9th floor room is a boon.

The staff was very unfriendly. The communication was difficult because of the language, when the staff is friendly, it’s not a big deal but if someone doesn’t understand English, has a poker face and doesn’t want to help, that’s a big problem.

Clean, comfortable room. The hotel is in a good location near to the bus station, many restaurants and 7/11, CU and other stores.

We booked this place last minute because we were coming from Seongsan Ilchulbong in the east of the island and got the 201 bus. The bus stop is Youth Cultural Centre - nearly opposite hotel Kenny. Easy!

Escalators always full everytime

Cleanliness of the room and housekeeping. Near to Olle night market. Can store a=our luggage even check out or check in earlier. Staff are well spoken in other languange.
