No elevator & hotel is up the hill, not suitable for elderly.

We knew in advance that there is no elevator, the Hotel advises you when you book. Two flights up to the top floor, but this was good exercise, and they helped with the bags. If you read a bad review on cleanliness and/or staff (similar timeframe to me), ignore it. The problem was NOT the hotel and it's staff.

Rated as 3-star, this is a great place to stay. Location is fantastic, staff are lovely, and it is great value for money. 20 places to eat within 3 min walk, supermarket across the road, 5 mins to Namdaemun markets, 1 station away from Seoul Station, and easy to get to many must see places in Seoul. The building is very well insulated, so the temperature inside is pleasant, and there is very little noise even if the window is open. So you can have fresh air in your room. The room and stairwells have lovely Korean decor.

The glass & see thru bathroom door may not be ideal for friends. Cleanliness can be improved as the table top is pretty dusty.

Excellent location, walking distance to Seoul Station, Namsan and Myeongdong. Bed is comfortable and the room is decent size for single occupant. Overall, it is still value for money for the location.

It doesn’t have elevator just make sure you are ok to go upstairs and also there was an old soap in our bath which is a bit disgusting.

The location is so good and close to main attractions in Myeongdong and price is reasonable . Anyway, it’s a budget hotel so you shouldn’t expect service and location was enough for us.

Great location, friendly staff, spacious room and bathroom, everything you need is in the room, shops, markets and local restaurants nearby. In walking distance to some main attractions, 3 minutes to subway station, 10 minets to airport bus stop

We were given a mattress cover-like thin white sheet for blanket n requested for blanket n was told no as it is summer. But the other room has proper blankets.

Not a dislike, but a tip for anyone looking to book: as mentioned in the description, it’s close to Namsan, so you do have to walk up a little bit. It’s not a bad incline, but if you have one or two suitcases, or lots of bags, with you, it might take a bit longer to get there. Best advice if you have a suitcase with 4 wheels (learn from my mistake): it’s much easier to drag it behind you on 2 wheels, than try to push it in front or next to you on 4 wheels, because the street is a little uneven, and it’s best to make your life easier when you’re on holiday (:

The staff was super sweet. Immediately after booking, they contacted me to double check that I knew there was no elevator. And they also offered to help carry the suitcase up when I checked in, which wasn’t necessary, but shows how incredibly kind they are. I felt very safe and comfortable in the hotel, and the bed was absolutely amazing. The bathroom is nice and spacious, and the water pressure in the shower was really nice. Location is great, it’s roughly a 5 minute walk to the Hoehyeon metro station, and a 10 minute walk to Myeongdong’s Shopping Street. There are also ammenities nearby, like a supermarket practically in front of the building, cafés and restaurants in the same street, and several convenience stores within a 2 minute walk. I also really liked the interior of the hotel and the stylistic design choices.

The location is perfect, very close to main historical attractions, close to the underground stations. The room is very clean, it is small but very comfortable.

There is no laundry service in the hotel, the coin laundry next door requires you to bring your own washing liquid and have nine 500 won coins - not convenient.

Staff are nice and helpful. Rooms were quiet. The location is excellent. There are metro trains close by. There are plenty of good cafes and restaurants close to the hotel.

_ The wall was quite thin so you can hear everything from the next room _ The noise coming from the fridge and AC - No elevator so if you have heavy luggage it’ll be quite difficult

Room is not clean which I expected

Location is very good, however the room was not clean which I stayed. Staff are very kind especially boss of the hotel.
