The walls are incredibly thin - if you have issues sleeping with noise then do not book. This was our only issue with the property, you can hear neighbours conversation word for word through the wall. Although there are signs saying to keep quiet after 11, neither of our neighbours adhered to this so be warned!

Rooms were very clean and had all basic amenities. Location was 5 min walk to main Myeongdong shopping street so very central for shopping and any guided tours. Kitchen offered a basic breakfast which was useful and there were facilities for cleaning clothes if needed.

Alright, I get I was on a budget so I was not really expecting or asking a lot. The female dorm I booked meant that I had to share it with 20 people (more or less) in a room, not well ventilated and no daylight at all. I myself was out all day so didn’t really had to suffer it. But it needs to be pointed out. Not the cleanest place but they could do better.

Location is superb, At Myongdong. Facilities were good and rooftop with views to Namsan Tower are amazing. Only interacted with the staff at the check in so can not really give an opinion. Great if you are on a budget.

Cleanliness was poor - very dusty in the room, especially under the beds and the heatpump was spitting out black dust so was unable to be used. There were belongings of previous stayers under the bed indicating the room hadn't been cleaned properly in some time I would say. Bathroom door handle wasn't working well

The location is superb. Walking distance to Myeongdong subway station and market as well as the N Seoul Tower. The guesthouse is homely, clean, and we feel safe. the check in and check out process is quick. We arrived at midnight and the owner communicated well beforehand so we can self check in with ease. We liked the complimentary breakfast (very handy) and more importantly the kitchen facilities where we can store and cook food (if needed). There is also a facility to do our laundry which was great. The rooftop is a bonus. It has a nice view and can see N Seoul tower from there. The staff were friendly and helpful. The owner was very hospitable and friendly, he treated his guests with drinks and food and a nice chat. The room we had was good and water in shower was great. Good value for money. We noticed that there was an ongoing work or refurbishment in some part of the property which was good and although busy it did not cause any noise or inconvenience. There is a facility to store the luggage after check out which was very helpful. They even have a weighing scale. If needed, the staff can help book an airport taxi which we availed. There is a convenience store and ATM machine outside the guesthouse. We had a comfortable stay and we are very happy. Will be back. Highly recommended.

The dorm layout makes it feel like there are less beds but still with this many people in the room it does get noisy sometimes

The little pods are spacious and bed is comfortable. Short walk from Myeondong station but far enough to be quiet. Small convenience store 2min walk away. Rooftop has great views! Owner was super nice as well!

There were a lotttttttt of beds in a single dorm room (which I was aware of beforehand), but luckily, only 5 other people slept in that room when I was there. So, it wasn't a problem for me. 😊 (I can't imagine what it'd be like if all of the beds were filled though. 😳) The shower and toilet rooms also didn't have very good ventilation, so maybe it can smell a bit like mildew.

Excellent location. Friendly staff. Clean. The beds had plenty of room for me to sleep in, and even a bit of room on the sides to keep a backpack next to me. We also got our own lockers next to the bed as well, which was nice too. There's a kitchen you can share in the common area, and they give you free breakfast (just simple instant noodles or toast and jam, but better than nothing).

Common areas-too cold. Room - too hot. Can not control the temperature in the room, as well as water temperature in the bathroom. Very hard matrases. Not very clean. Provided only small (facial) towels.

Good location. Good idea for dining room - have all the amenities, but only one fork :) Good idea for taking out your shoes . Slippers provided. Also the towels (only small -50/70) can be changed whenever you want. Free loundry service.

Bed was nice. I complained that my bunk was cold as it was right next to the window, staff kindly moved me to a warm one in the middle of the room. Shower was nice and hot, but went crazy, going hot, cold, hot, cold hehe, aish. Breakfast included!! Excellent area.

We're staying in room 204 for our first leg, from 26th Dec to 1st Jan, and there's a small leak under the window close to the bed. The toilet is easily shifted, because it seems that it's not seeled onto the ground. On the second leg, we're staying from the 4th Jan to the 8th Jan, and we're allocated to rm 207. The room and the bathroom/toilet are much better than room 204. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at Namsan Guesthouse.

The staffs are helpful and very knowledgeable. The dining and kitchen area are clean. The location is excellent, so close to public transport and the shuttle bus that take us from and to Incheon airport.

I was placed on the upper deck which is difficult to climb. Si if you are not flexible,a plus size, old or just unable to climb, make sure to request for the lower deck of the bed.!

We can just walk from it to the station, walking street, Namsan tower entrance, restaurants, convenience store and many more. The way is steep though.

The water was cold when taking a shower. The room was too hot at times so it was difficult to sleep in sometimes.

The facilities are old. The cleanliness of the room definitely needs improved. We found hair on the floor and in the towels when we checked in. Also, we were woken up by crying in one morning, showing that the sound insulation is not very good.

The staff were helpful and provided us clear instructions of how to check. The rooftop view is awesome. Simple breakfast (toast and cup noodle) was provided. My partner and I stayed here for three nights when the temperature is only around -10°C, but the room heat is strong enough so we still have comfortable sleep.
