Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Netherlands* the place is a bit outdated, saw a lot of cracks in the bathroom tiles * staff wasn’t able to help me get a taxi in the early morning, since taxi company that they use didn’t have a car nearby. Luckily, I managed to catch one outside the hotel. The location is good!
* central location: easy to take the bus to the hotel and also to other destinations since it’s close to City Hall that has many bus connections * the rooms are spacious * the basics are there: small fridge, watercooker, hairdryer, water bottles

SingaporeFor light sleepers, you might want to sleep facing away from the aircon given it's blue power light is akin to having a mini sun in your room. Otherwise, like me, you cover your face with a pillow and pray you have excellent choice in your roommate(s).
The bedroom had an excellent view of the ocean. Ample parking space for tourist. Rooms were quiet despite being near the roads. Room facilities were decent but aged. There were some piping issues with my sink but we changed rooms with no fuss. Great location for travellers with a car and there is a 7-11 store within 15 meters of the hotel. Hotel staff spoke little english but that is fine with google translate (they spoke excellent mandarine which helped). Oh I read that the some hotels did not switch on the air-conditioning during the April-May periods, leaving you to fend against the mosquitos. I specifically chose this hotel because they did not have this policy.

SingaporeStaff isn't super fluent in English but still understandable!
The location is really near the airport so it's good when you got an early flight to catch! Though its not located at the crowded area in jeju, its still relatively easy to get to tourist attraction like the jeju folklore & natural history museum, samsunghyeol shrine and dongmun traditional market!

United StatesIn the initial room I was placed (Room 1107), there where what appeared to be spy cams drilled into the wall next to the tv. When I noticed them and told the front desk staff about it, someone came to look at it, then he tried to say they were just holes from construction when that clearly wasn’t the case. If you’ve lived in Korea for a while as well, you’ve probably seen plenty of these in public restrooms and such. Eventually, after trying to convince me that I was mistaken, the staff member put a piece of tape over the holes which I was not satisfied with, understandably so. They gave a me a new room after that, which I appreciated. There I found no cameras. I would just caution guests to check for these cameras here (and any hotel you stay at in Korea, as they are often found in guests’ rooms). Also, the hotel kitchen only offers breakfast (6:30-9:30) and nothing else. And the next door cafe that they advertise with has been shutdown for a while. So basically no food options provided by the hotel other than breakfast. Other than these 2 things, I had a good stay and the staff was nice and helpful.
The place was clean, comfortable, and had a good bit of food, cafes, and convenience stores in a short distance walk nearby. Also there was a Daiso about 9 minutes walk up the street. It was right on a Main Street too, but it wasn’t really noisy. And, the nearest beaches (Samyang and Mongdol) are each about a 35 minutes bus ride away or 15 minute taxi.

SingaporeFront desk english is so bad they struggled to get me instructions to the art museum - took 20 min, compared to Soegwipo where i can plan 2-3 days worth in that same time. Difficult if dealing with international tourists. TV wasn't working, but they fixed it.
Location was central, further than I thought from some sites as I had to walk 30 min. Rooms are super big, bathroom super clean.

close to airport. taxi costs about 6,000 won. spacious room and nice view. hotel is also close to different bus stations to go to dongmum market, or the port to Udo. I highly recommend this hotel as it is really convenient to go anywhere from the hotel. my room was super nice for the price also. I will definitely come back to this hotel again. and a lot of taxi drivers know about this hotel so it’s a big plus!

SingaporeNo aircon. Family members have to endure the stuffy room which only has one window. Poor centralises system, not flexible. Unable to provide aircon in room, and no fan to support the two days when temperature rises above 20 degree.
