Super clean. Easy Check in. Host was very friendly and kind. Made a nice little breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and you had some privacy with the curtains around the bed. Also the bed didn’t make annoying noises despite it being out of metal. Great location.

Dorm of 4 was quite small no much space for luggage and no hangers or shelf to store clothes but lucky for me the room was not full during my stay

Great owner easy to chat with. Not living onsite but here every morning for nice breakfast (ham,cheese and jam sandwich with coffee or juice) and easy to reach out with quick replies to help you by phone Rooms cleaned and towels changed daily Very close to the intercity station

It's very small and cosy. The owner is super nice and he makes a nice breakfast every morning! It's close to the busstation to go to the mountain, but it's also close to a nice walking trail around the lighthouse.

The bed mad a lot of noice when the person above me moved. Every bed has his own light, wich is really nice, but when someone turns on her light the whole room get lightened up

The host is really nice and the breakfast is really good. The place is perfect because it's right in front of the busstation. Would definitely come back here when I visit Sokcho again!

Super kind host. Very helpful, and he made breakfast every morning. The location is great too! Close by the bus terminal we're u can get the bus to Seoraksan. The room got cleaned every day, and the bed was amazing. If I ever come back, this will be the place!!

Very clean. Towels changed every day, as default. Nice breakfast- toast with eggs, cheese and strawberry jam + coffee/juice. Super nice owner, helped us with a matter not related to our stay free of charge, which we greatly appreciate. Nice location just next to intercity bus station.

Nothing (or maybe the fact that we can t cook, no kitchen really) really one of my best hostel!

The owners were soooo nice, Kim was cooking a good toast for the morning, and was helpful when I asked for recommendations! Very thoughtful! The room was warm, the bed with curtains for privacy and we even had our bathroom in the dorm room ☀️ it was pretty quiet and as it s a little hostel, easy to meet very nice people !

This seems like a property that is popular with Koreans and there’s not much of a social atmosphere. If that’s what you’re looking for, this might not be right for you.

Really comfortable beds, clean and very peaceful. If you are looking for a quiet stay, this is the place. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very helpful and accommodated late check in.

Everything was great. They provided guests with shoe spikes/crampons for hiking in Seoraksan Park (since there was still a lot of snow on the trails), which was super helpful!! The beds being equipped with heating pads was a highlight. Clean, convenient location (2 minute walk from intercity bus station - *not Express*, 5 minute walk from bus stop to Seoraksan, 2 minute walk from a 7-11), overall can recommend

The breakfast cooked by the host was absolutely delicious, and the host himself was very kind and interested in making conversation with the guests. He even lent us some spikes and gloves when we told him we were going to hike in the snowy mountains of the Seoraksan National Park.

I struggled a bit with the shower in the bathroom leaving the floor wet, but its not a huge issue.

I truly recommend Sokcho Hütte! You can feel the passion that the owner puts into this hostel. I was solo travelling off-season so I was the only guest for some days. Yet, I was not lonely because Sokcho Hütte is a really cozy and welcoming place. Furthermore, I want to highlight that the owner is a very caring and gentle person who loves to have a chat when serving breakfast. As for breakfast he serves a sandwhich with eggs, jam and cheese which I have never had before but which I already miss eating. I would come back.

Likely because it was off season, but there wasn’t any atmosphere to the place as there weren’t very many travellers.

Great location close to the bus station, restaurants, laundry, 20 minute walk from the fish market. Really comfortable beds with heating pads and curtains, and clean bathrooms.

The plug sockets were a little difficult to use as foreigners because our adapters didn’t fit properly but we still found a way to make it work.

I loved that they had a little board with everyone’s names of who was staying that day. I thought it was a very cute, home-like touch. The rooms and overall place were very cosy.
