Staff wasn’t helpful when our flight to return home was cancelled and we had to return home a day early. They would not refund our last day. We had three rooms and these rooms were the most expensive rooms for our whole trip to South Korea. The room also didn’t look like the photos on the website. The walls are in need of a fresh coat of paint! Upon arrival late in the evening, there were some unpleasant odors wafting out of the parking area and the incense smell in the facility was strong. We didn’t see a whole lot to do in the general area.

It was convenient to the subway station and a Lotte store.

we had to ask for bath towels almost everyday for the week we stayed- there are 3 of us in the family room but only 1 or 2 bath towels given, and 3 small HAND towels 😞. there is no towel rack/bar/hook in the bathroom or in the bedroom.

the bed linens are really nice and clean. hotel is near the train station.

There was a problem with the water draining in the bathtub. The bed sheets were full of dust.

The overall ambiance of the rooms were booked could be improved upon. Beds were a little too hard and one of our rooms had an intense and horrible smoke smell. Once the hotel staff was notified they were able to move us, but I am surprised they would book someone into a room that had issues.

The location was convenient to a Lotte mall. Public transport options were very close by, both Cheongnyangni Station and bus stop options.

My room wasn’t the cleanest. There was something splattered up the shelf and there was a couple of hairs in the bed but it was clean other than that. Staff struggled with English at the front desk and was asleep at the desk when I checked out the next morning. Also, bags are just left in the lobby, not a private room if you need to leave them.

Great location for Cheongnyangni train station, a 2 minute walk. Room came with a bath and the bed was comfortable.

Shower had no curtain and was a tub so water went all over the floor. Room only had one very small window. Bed was extremely hard. Hotel is old and shows it’s age. It’s not very clean.

someone’s underwear was in the room under the couch, overall it wasn’t cleaned good. I got the most boring room among all designers ones, not worth it.

Toilet had a dripping tap that kept me awake The window weren’t acoustic enough to block out the noise from the street. Window was directly above a sewer so couldn’t open the window. AC had mould and stunk.

Facilities weren’t worth the price, beds were not clean, didn’t worth ₩160,000 at all.

Deluxe twin room was NOT as advertised or as included in booking confirmation. No city view (freeway instead), no sofa, no mini bar, no laptop. There were only ottoman stools for the desk which were too low and with no backs, incredibly uncomfortable to sit at for long. There was mould all over the bathroom ceiling and wall tiles. The bidet/toilet did not fully flush/cycle. One roll of toilet paper and one bath towel supplied for two guests for three nights. One keycard for two travellers, so only one of us could leave the room at a time, or the room setting was default for cleaners to enter, with no safe or security and if one was sleeping, the other had to leave room without key access so the sleeper was not disturbed (no Do Not Disturb option/notice provided). Hotel refused to discount for fake amenities, offered smaller room as alternative, refused to engage with booking.com over complaint and ignored my follow-up message sent as per booking.com instructions. Hotel has now been listed for investigation for quality check. Hotel is located in ex-red light district so surrounds are fairly seedy and there is not a lot to do other than local markets or department store. Hard to get taxis. Beds and pillows were very firm/hard. You can do much better in Seoul. I will not use The Designers chain again because of this one hotel.

Food avenue at local Lotte department store was excellent. Room was comparatively spacious. Neighbouring coffee and pastry shop was great.

The open kitchen could have a few more options, even if just for breakfast. Can be a bit confusing if you don't speak Korean.

Staff is friendly, room is comfortable, location next to Cheongnyangni station is unmatched. Quite good value for money. The Russian speaking cleaning staff is a plus if you speak the language.

I dont think they did clean the bed. Because there are many hair on the bed. And foucet is dirty.
