Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Booked this hostel under recommendation of a friend. The hostel is near two metro stations, with big bathroom and comfortable bed, good natural light room with window and a view to the street, liked the elevated bed and the position of the television Infront, very nice for friends to chill out having a beer while watching tv together. Over all very satisfied!

SpainVery comfortable and practical hotel. Super good located next to metro number 2 and bus stations that take you to the entire city. The room was enough for the stay and clean but the beds a little firm.

South Korea1. Walls could do with a repaint. My room had noticeable marks from where luggage and other items have scuffed the walls in the past. This didn't impact my stay but it's not a nice thing to see. 2. Mattress was very hard. This is standard in Korea however. 3. Only one pillow. It was soft however, which is nice.
1. Brilliant location, walking distance from Sincheon and the Ewha Women's University stations on Line 2 and the other Sincheon station on the Gyenonggi line. In addition there's the theatre and multiple restaurants nearby. 2. Staff were super friendly and spoke good English 3. There's a lovely cafe in the reception, a laundry room, kitchen on the 8th floor and a bar on the 9th floor that is reasonably priced. Guests also get a free beer token there. 4. Disability friendly 5. Room was very clean bar one minor thing that'll mention in the negatives. 6. 24 hour check in and check out. This was ideal as I had to check out before 8am.

SpainMy solo room had no proper storage space for clothing other than 2 hangers and the mattress was quite hard. My room faced the main road which could be quite noisy. I also requested to check out 2 nights early (from a 14 night booking) a few weeks before my arrival but this could not be met so I had to pay for all 14 nights despite staying for only 12 which was a shame.
The hostel was very clean which I appreciated. The heater was warm and the solo room had a mini fridge and a great view! Excellent location on line 2 with several convenience stores and eateries in the area.

SingaporeWalls were kind of thin and there was this very loud Korean family staying beside on my one day stay. I was awoken by them from my nap at 7pm and there was frequent loud talking and knocking of doors again and again even at 1030pm. The same family. There was also this loud fridge buzzing while the fridge was recalibrating? Also there was this intermittent and loud phone notification vibration sound seemingly from below the bed or from the another adjacent room. (I searched and just couldn't find the source of this sound) Then I saw it. Free ear plugs were given. I didn't use it though, you may. If not for the sounds the stay would have been perfect. Bed was the harder type, pillow was the ultra soft type. I did sleep okay just that I prefer softer beds and firmer pillows.
I enjoyed the welcome drink before check out (choice of americano/cafe latte/ice tea) and chilling at the cafe below the hotel. The standard 2 bottles of mineral water were also provided. Design of the room was nice and lights were controllable via a panel which was cool. Room was also pretty spacious with a nice window. (But rmb to pull the blinds when you privacy) You can deposit your luggage before check-in. Lobby reception only opens until 10pm, to enter via backdoor after 10pm. There were notices to inform others that smoking is strictly prohibited, else $100 and staff spoke English well. Pretty good location near Sinchon/Ehwa Women's University station.

CanadaWish there were English instructions on how the air conditioner worked. Not sure if it was turning off due to wrong settings or the appliance itself had issues, but it got extremely humid as the air conditioner turned off during the night. Not much space in the washroom to put towels/toiletries. Space could be utilized more efficiently.
Great quality for the price! Staff was really helpful and we were given free drinks for each day of our stay from the cafe downstairs! Hostel is also able to receive parcels and were helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Hostel is close to the train station and staff shared that there are busses that will bring you straight to the airport within a 3 minute walk. Hostel is close to a large shopping area with many restaurants and main stores (uniqlo, daiso, supermarket, olive young, etc).

AustraliaI was less than impressed with the facilities. My shower head was broken so I couldn't adjust the height, one morning the water didn't turn on until later, and when I come back to shower at night the water oscillates between hot and cold. Also, the towels provided to me had orange stains on them probably from being old (but the staff promptly replaced them with newer ones) and the bathroom shower curtain was discolored at the bottom.
The staff were also lovely and accommodating! The location was also quite good being in between two stations and lots of buses available nearby. The room I got was spacious enough and had everything I need.

FranceThe only minor drawbacks were the lack of a scenic view and some nighttime noise, but the hostel thoughtfully provided earplugs to counteract this.
My stay at the Wegoinn Hostel in Seoul was a delightful experience. I'd rate it a solid 9 out of 10. The location is fantastic, nestled near the vibrant district of Hongdae, making it convenient for exploring the city. The room exceeded my expectations in terms of size and comfort. It was spotlessly clean, and the optimized space was a pleasant surprise. The decor, though simple, added a touch of elegance to the room. The staff were accommodating and friendly. We had a late check-in, but the instructions provided were crystal clear, ensuring a smooth process. For the price we paid, the value we received was exceptional. It's rare to find such quality accommodation at such an affordable rate. While we didn't dine at the hostel, the coffee area had a welcoming ambiance. We didn't get to experience any additional features, but the essentials were more than satisfactory. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend the Wegoinn Hostel. It offers a blend of comfort, value, and convenience that's hard to beat. We're already looking forward to our next stay!

ThailandThere was no daily cleaning. Only changing towel and trash when you request. However, we have stayed for 4 nights, we don't have enough of toilet paper for 4 days. Even they come to change trash bin in the toilet but they don't fill the toilet paper for us. As I leave early in the morning and return at night that the reception was closed. So, we have to bought the toilet paper by ourselves. We appreciated everything except this
The hotel locate in the good area, 2 stops from Hongdae but cheaper. Easy to go to anywhere by bus and metro. The room was clean and comfortable.

GermanyIt was a fantastic stay, I enjoyed it so much I wish I had booked more than a few days. The price and quality of the space, bed, and bathroom are very good and come with everything you'd need. A free drink per day at the adjoint cozy coffee shop is included. It is a bit of a walk uphill from Sinchon or Ehwa Station but easy to find and has lots of good stores and food places around it. The staff is very friendly and the guesthouse overall has an international but (if you prefer that) quiet vibe. Guests get small discounts at the live pub on the rooftop and the Chinese restaurant in the same building. Highly recommended overall, would definitely come here again!
