We were bicycling up the East Coast of South Korea and this hotel was perfect for us... close to bike path and across the street from Bus Terminal we used to get to Seoul. Staff were very nice and provided a safe place to lockup our bikes. Basic rooms but nice big common area with a chance to meet other traveller's. Sockcho Beach ( main attraction) close by as is bus up into National Park.

An easy way to improve the room would be to add an obscuring curtain/blinds. We got woken up around 5-5:30 am because of all the light entering the room. We found the bed a bit hard.

Excellent location, close to the express bus terminal and also to the bus stop for the lines 7 and 7-1, which can easily take you to the Seoraksan National Park. The first bus passes around 6:30 in the morning. The room was spacious and the bathroom had all the necessary toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, plus a small soap bar). The basement has a nice area for gathering, including some board games. Check-in time is strictly adhered to, but you can leave your luggage while you are out exploring.

Very helpful staff, who will help you with queries and provide all necessary info. Absolutely convenient location- bang opposite the Express bus terminal (Mind you, there are two bus terminals in Sokcho. One is Intercity bus terminal, and the other is Express bus terminal. This place is opposite Express bus terminal). Hardly a minute walk to the Sokcho beach. And right outside the hotel exit is the bus stop where you can take the bus to your destination. Bus 7 and 7-1 go to Seoraksan entrance gate(first bus is at 6.30 AM). E mart convenience store is right in front, and so is Lotteria restaurant where I have had the most amazing vegan burger ever!! Our room had one double bed and two small beds, and also a small kitchenette where you can cook. In the basement there`s another common kitchen, and billiards tables. There`s no in house restaurant, but there are a lot of restaurants/ cafes around, so no worries!!

The beds could have been comfier! And I did notice some mold on the inside of the shower/toilet unit.

The location was perfect, very close to the intercity bus station and the beach, a minute away from the bus stop to Seoraksan. I got a room upgrade which was also nice! Good facilities too.

The guesthouse is litteraly in front of the bus terminal and near a direct bus stop to go to Seoraksan. The room is well laid-out, there is especially a space to put on and off your shoes. A big kitchen and dining area is available downstairs.

This was my FAVOURITE accommodation in my ten days in Korea. Absolute value for money. Everything was clean, the basement is great for group gathering. The location is close to the express bus terminal as well as the bus stop to travel around Sokcho via public transport. It was so clean and it also smelled great. Hahaha!

The only downpoint is the wifi connection as it drop off a few times.

Super convenient location, just opposite the Express Bus Terminal and the bus stop to Mt Seorak is just few step away from the guesthouse. The room is spacious, clean and comfy. The owner is friendly and speaks good english. Highly recommended.

The hotel is super nice and the rooms are spacious. The owner is extremely kind and helpful. Perfect place to visit saoraksan national park since the bus stop is just in front of the hotel and the bus station (coming from Seoul) is just crossing the road.

We got the family room, which was very comfortable for my family of 4. The kids loved having an "upstairs" with the two smaller beds being in a loft-type area. The shower was hot and had good pressure (important for me!). Very close to the bus terminal, the local bus stop, the beach, and multiple convenience stores. All around excellent place to stay in Sokcho.

The room is spacious and really clean, served well our hiking trip experience in Sokcho! The building is close to one of the bus terminals, so arriving from Seoul was super easy! The intercity bus terminal is one bus-ride away, so going Busan was also easy after the stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful!

The only negatives would be that the bed is very hard, but that’s the norm for most hotels in Korea. Also, a lot of noise can travel through the door from the hallway.

It’s a pretty nice hotel! I like that this place is practically opposite to the express bus terminal. It’s also walking distance from Sokcho Beach. In cooler seasons, you can easily walk to Daepo Port and Sokcho Market.

The placement of the shower over the sink, with a narrow piece of plastic separating the toilet. When I showered, everything became wet.

The professionalism of the staff. The cleanliness of the room. The location - opposite the Express Bus Station, with lots of eateries and a couple of convenience stores across the road. The bus stop outside the hotel can take us to Seoraksan National Park and Naksansa in Yang Yang. There are numerous places of interests in close proximity within walking distance.
