Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Amazing hotel : the view from the room was breathtaking, the room was huge and bed super comfy, Bathroom design is genius and being at the room felt absolutely out of this world. Near a Beach and area for sea food restaurants. Gym provided unbelievable machines !! At 10min away by taxi from downtown.

NetherlandsStaff is somewhat ‘green’, every request takes a lot of effort and they are very inefficient in dealing with malfunctions (e.g keycards and tv) and dietary restrictions of guests (took 5 staffs to be able to order a vegetarian meal). In addition, basic amenities like cotton buds, are not complimentary, but require additional payment. Location is a bit far from major attractions and not super well connected.
Loved the seaside view, very relaxing. Rooms are super stylish, attention to detail is exceptional. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable bed.

Chinathe location lacks convenient bus access, requires a bit of a walk and climbing a slope to reach the nearest bus stop.
Staying here was an absolute delight! From the moment we checked in, every detail exceeded our expectations. The room was a perfect blend of comfort and style, providing a cozy retreat after days filled with adventure. What truly set our experience apart was the exceptional service; the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of spectacular. Breakfast, a culinary journey each morning, was the cherry on top. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a memorable stay!

RussiaThe air in the room was a little bit dry. For those who’s having any asthma symptoms please be aware. It is possible to ask for the humidifier or opening the window (though for the safety purposes it is originally closed and not clear how to use the mechanism). The staff is very friendly and helpful, so should be no problem.
New hotel, clean rooms, tidy bedrooms, pleasant view, comfortable. Cafe, services and staff are all excellent. Comfortable parking. Good location (far from the crowd).
