Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThere isn't much storage space for a long stay. The breakfast is grapes, tomatoes, toast and pastries every day, which can be a bit monotonous.
The location is excellent. Lots of restaurants nearby. The rooms are spacious and there are good views over the harbour. It would be a good place for a honeymoon.

United KingdomBecause the room had so many gadgets, they used up most of the mains sockets, leaving few empty ones. We travel with two phones, two iPads and a portable WiFi which need charging every night. Charging them all required a bit of ingenuity, especially if we needed to charge a camera too. The multi-charger by the bedside will charge three different devices, but can’t charge two which need the same connector. The air dresser is a wardrobe sized gadget for refreshing clothes. I couldn’t understand the Korean instructions and couldn’t find an instruction manual online either. The big drawback is that it occupied what would otherwise be the hanging space. In the rest of the room there were just two hangers for the dressing gowns and minimal space for storing shirts, socks, underwear etc. For such a generously sized room, it was surprising that there was no provision for storing suitcases out of the way.
The room was very well appointed with gadgets - air dresser, multi port charger, air purifier, computer, goose neck kettle, 55” TV with sound bar etc. The location is on an island which is not served by the metro, this works both ways. One the one hand it’s quieter and there are plenty of typically Korean shops and restaurants not too far away, but on the other hand, to get to the centre of the city you need to use a bus ( number 8 is a useful one ) or a taxi. Taxis are cheap, but the bus is much more interesting and costs peanuts. The room rate implies that breakfast is not included, but the hotel offers a free breakfast buffet of juice, cereal, croissants and coffee. The staff were excellent, always helpful and eager to please. The remote control for the TV also controls the various lights and air conditioning.

SingaporeThe location is far from haeudae. Hence if activities are around Haeundae, it require some traveling. However, if your activities are in Yeong-do, this place is wonderful.
The property was well kept generally. The reception staff were extremely helpful and spoke English proficiently. I really enjoyed my stay there.

ItalyBreakfast was below the expectations, no place for working in Team in the entire bulding. 2 PC in the room are not useful and it's an obsolete concept; they occupy the only desk available for working. Location is near the port, it was our mistake.

United StatesNot very suitable for travelers that are only in Busan for a short period and probably not soon again. It’s not in a great area and far from the most touristic area. It wasn’t very clean, especially the floors were quite dirty. But worst were the towels, grey towels instead of the usual white that hotels use. And the smell of them was really awful.
The hotel showed up first in my search results and it looked promising so we booked. The pictures look great and my kids were very happy about the 2 pc’s in the room.

Lady at the counter said ok but never deliver . The guy was much better Very far so need cab . Costs will add up over time I think offset the relatively cheap rates so overall not a good deal

SingaporeThe rooms are big and well taken care of. The toilets were nice too! Love it especially it comes with a bidet. The rooms are super spacious. Nothing to do much around the area but public transport are accessible. If you walk down a little theres GS25 and behind theres a market you can go to in the morning. Staffs were super friendly too and really go the extra mile to translate for you in case you dont speak their language. Just download papago app its very useful. The hotel has a cat mascot too! Super friendly and will always greet you at the lobby when you enter. Breakfast are also included, vending machines as well. Didnt manage to explore the rooftop but heard its nice!
