Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe hotel was great on the whole, but it does need a minor refurbishment in some places. Our room had a few faults and broken fixtures and fittings. However, anything I reported was fixed swiftly. The ensuite bathroom had a broken door handle, broken mirror light and the sink was blocked. I didn't bother to report these. The shower head was also faulty, but this was replaced when reported. The WiFi also had a fault and whilst they supplied us with a new access point. Speeds were okay for browsing and light social media, but I wouldn't expect to download any films or TV shows or do any heavy streaming. The kitchen was functional, although it had a slightly awkward L shape and the sink was in a bit of a cramped corner. There was also no washing machine or dryer available, so you can't wash any clothes and would have to use the laundry service, which we didn't use. There was also a LOT of construction going on. There was a little inside the hotel, although this was not really noticeable, but there was a lot of construction outside the hotel on the main road and the nearby beach. It wasn't the end of the world, they were just laying paving stones, but on our walk to Kuwait Towers, there was a lot of construction to navigate. The swimming pool and gym area were fully functional, although the jacuzzi was not working properly. Whilst it was warm, it wouldn't bubble up as it should and thus just acted like a lukewarm hot tub. There was also a shower out of action for the duration of our stay, although there were 2 more available. The hotel didn't have a money exchange facility, which would have been useful as the taxis only take cash. The nearest money exchange was a 20 minute walk, so try to get a few pounds worth of Kuwaiti Dinars before you arrive.
We stayed in a three bedroom suite at the Adams Hotel. The rooms were very generous in size. Nice and spacious and there was a nice living room area also with 2 comfy sofas and an arm chair. The size of the bed in the master bedroom and the 2nd bedroom were huge and very comfortable. The single beds in the 3rd room were also very comfortable. Master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, with a bath and a separate shower also, which was very powerful! The remaining 2 shared bathrooms had a shower. The hotel is just off the main dual carriageway, Arabian Gulf Street. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach and about 15 to 20 minute walk to the Kuwait Towers. There is a lovely ice cream and juice parlour just round the corner from the hotel called Lemon Lime, highly recommend you try the secret sauce ice cream! There is a mini market about 5 - 10 minutes walk from the hotel and some little gem takeaways just 15 minutes away selling delicious Kuwaiti food! Breakfast was served every morning from 7am to 10:30am on the 7th floor which had lovely views of downtown Kuwait and the beach side. There was a fresh omelette and pancake station available as well as lots of freshly cooked pastries and local Kuwaiti dishes. The only thing I would have liked was more fresh fruit, of which there was very little. Regardless, it was a very nice breakfast buffet.

United Kingdomcleanliness could have been better - found a pair of socks left lying in the middle of the floor when we entered.
The Hotel is a big 4 star hotel that is well located in Kuwait City. There are places to eat at the end of the road - a five minute walk from the hotel. There is plenty of parking located around the hotel.

United Arab EmiratesThe access of the left is very narrow for the wheelchair. The housekeeping staff don't supply enough amenities for all the rooms within the same appartment. The bathrooms has steps which was not too much feel good for my mother as a senior citizen.
The access of the wheelchair was straight with no steps. The room spaces were well distributed. The staff are very helpful and welcoming.

Saudi Arabia1. Parking is open, under the sun, and is shared by non-hotel guests, and sometimes you may not find parking. 2. The TV is not smart, there are few channels that do not meet the desires of children, and it is not possible to connect YouTube to the TV
The place is clean and quiet, the rooms are spacious, and very suitable for family accommodation.
