I was there 4 nights and my room wasn’t cleaned in this time which would have been nice. But honestly I have very little bad things to say, it was lovely

Felt super luxurious as a backpacker to have my own bungalow with a huge bed and a balcony with a hammock. The location is amazing, just a few minutes walk from the ferry. You can hire bikes here to cycle around the island. Super laid back and lovely.

Sometimes the water pressure in the bathroom was really low which made it difficult to shower but I think this is common in the area, there were also some gaps around windows/doors which let mosquitos in but nothing too bad!

Really good location, air con was super efficient & staff were lovely. Great value for money, we ended up extending as we loved don det so much!

No views from the balcony

Located on the sunrise side of the island. Very close to the pier, restaurants and bars. Large, clean room with comfortable bed and good pillows. A/C worked great which was definitely needed in the heat. Bicycle rental available.

Didn't notice anything bad, perhaps the money exchange rate was not that ideal, we couldn't get cambodian riels there.

Room was very tidy, facilities like hot water and air-con worked well. Location was really nice, not far from the pier and the hotel offered bicycle rental. Don Det has really nice countryside for retreat.

Lots of bugs, a few big spiders tried to share a night in the room with us and there were constant streams of ants (to be expected, but that didn’t make losing half a pack of Oreos any easier😪)

It was in great location, about a 3 minute walk from the ferry drop off point (great after a long period traveling). The staff were very friendly and helpful with booking things such as travel and bicycles. The bed was very comfy, the ac was great and so was the shower!

We did have mice on our roof who stole our soap overnight, as there are openings on the roofs in the bungalows! Other than that very pleasant stay!

Beds were super comfy and great for a few nights if you are staying on Don Det!

Dirty, no mosquito net and a lot of dead insects on the bed and floors

No AC in the bungalow, there were holes in the walls and ceiling, ants in the bathroom, not very clean

Close to the pier, can rent a bicycle for 1$ a day, hammock on the terrace is nice for relaxing

An extremely well located property with very accommodating and helpful staff. The beds were comfy and don’t listen to other reviews- they do have mosquito nets! It is also easy to book tours and onward travel at a very reasonable price. I could highly recommend!

we had some issues with bugs in our room however I think this is a common problem across the islands. we noticed they were falling on us from the ceiling so we put our own net over the bed which fixed the problem. we are particularly squeamish with bugs however so can imagine they wouldn’t have been noticeable for other people

the sink in the bathroom leaked non stop so the floor was always soaking. be prepped to kill a few insects in the room but that comes with being on the island!

close to pier so good walking distance and very central yet quiet at night. good ac and hot shower. can book transfers and offers "atm" and exchange services

I found my room not spectacular clean.

The guesthouse is located near the ferry boat which is very nice. I like the staff as well because they were very helpful and accommodating. The bungalow I stayed was nice and comfortable.
