When we arrived they had overbooked so sent us to a different hotel. The room we got at the other hotel was definitely not of equal standard to the one booked, even though they showed me photos of "the room" they said we would get at the alternate hotel. The room shown was a deluxe suite and looked great. That was not what we got. We also already paid prior. We managed to get them to give us the room paid for after a day or so when one became available.

The hotel was clean with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. There is also a pool at another hotel you can walk to and use. Breakfast is good

They don't have lockers, also the beds don't have any place where you can put your phone while you're charging it. They should put a little table there ! And also they need to fix the door for the sharing room ! Make a big noise when people want to Open it or close it ... Also some Curtains do not cover the beds well

Steps to the dorm are steep but was not a problem for me.

Very comfortable dorm bed with privacy curtain,light,plug. Staff are great.nice breakfast. Very useful discrete balcony as part of the dorm. The dorm is very good value.

Rented a scooter and left a passport as deposit which fairly standard in Laos. When we returned the scooter none of the staff present knew where the passport was and said only one member of staff did know. The man at the desk said they would take it to my room soon when located. We asked for it again a few hours later and it still hadn’t been located and the lady who told me this made a show of moving one piece of paper on the desk to look underneath before shrugging her shoulders. Finally got it back the next morning about 30 minutes before we had to leave to catch our train. Very poor.

Great location and love the balcony overlooking the mountains! Free breakfast is nice. The staff doesn't speak much English but they were nice and could organise everything you need like scooter rental and train tickets. It's not a super luxurious stay but decent and what you'd expect for the price.

Booking states that you can borrow a bike for free but I had to pay 80,000 kip, so if you’re interested in renting a bike I’d recommend you to check the prices in other agencies (they overcharge for buses and train so I assume it might be the same for the bike, so better to rent it elsewhere I think)

Place is nice, beds are comfy with curtains. Breakfast was good, overall great value for money!

the poor is in other hostel, so you need to ask the host to go cause they can bring you with motorbike. No locker for your stuff and only two showers..

The upstairs dorm is huge and has a lot of beds which is a little intimidating with lots of people. Bathrooms had a few problems and staff wasn't always available. I also felt sometimes the staff were trying to be a bit sneaky with booking prices for some things. But they were also helpful and the room was a good price.

I moved here from another hostel and it was far better. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms had hot water, and the breakfast was one of the best I've had at a hostel -- all for a very reasonable price.

The showers have a limited amount of hot water, but it should be enough. Otherwise it's a nice, relaxing place.

First of all, the breakfast is one of the best I've ever had at a hostel. You choose pancakes or eggs, and get toast, mango, passion fruit, watermelon, coffee, and juice. It's filling and delicious. The staff are nice and helpful, and offer laundry services for 30k/kilo. It's located right in the center of town, next to many restaurants and not far from bars, ATMs, and shops. The beds have curtains, the AC is cold, there's a balcony, and the showers have a decent supply of hot water.

I have no complaints. Hot water can be hit and miss (common in such areas at this price point and a cool shower doesn't hurt in this region).

Simple, no fuss, staff as helpful as they could be (bit of language barrier, but they really tried and used Google translate effectively), tours and attractions can be booked at reception for fair prices, room was clean and equipped for my needs. The bed was very comfortable with soft, smooth linen. Breakfast was adequate and served quickly.

However, we had ants coming through the balcony door in our room. Also, suddenly we ran out of water for a few hours. Not so nice when you're showering. It was also a bit disturbing that only one of the staff spoke English, so we had to wait for him everytime. The staff was very polite though. The breakfast was basic, but good.

Great value for money. The bed is very comfy and we even got a room with a balcony and a great view,, while we booked one without. The bathroom was nice and clean. Staff was very helpful and polite.
