The hostel nearby plays very loud music. Sometimes a bit mind numbing. It was Songkran so maybe it's not like this all year round. It is a shared balcony and sometimes the guests next door would be outside our room being really loud at 6am. The hotel has signs everywhere for people to keep quiet but some people are just gonna be super inconsiderate at the end of the day.

The owner was so helpful to us throughout our stay and always super nice and kind. The balcony view of the mountains was spectacular. We had to pinch ourselves every morning. The pool was great.

A lift/elevator to the top floor would have been good....but I understand that it is practically impossible to install a new lift/elevator within the hotel due to the design of the building.

I would not recommend booking the hot air balloon either at the hotel or elsewhere. It’s not safe and we ended up crashing into the mountains. It has happened several times before and the company is still running. There’s a reason you can't book it over GetYourGuide or Tripadvisor. The first time it happened they cut off the trip from the site, so now it runs through the locals

The breakfast wasn’t enough for all the guests. The swimming pool area need some work to be done but the view is so amazing I didn’t really cared. The trips sold at the desk aren’t good, they use a bad agency which drove me around for 3h collecting guests at other hotels. Waste of time and money.

The swimming pool view is amazing, extremely beautiful!!!! The owner is very helpful and welcoming, I enjoyed chatting with him and I wish him all the best with his business.

1) this hotel has the highest prices for activities you can find in town, go book somewhere else 2) the host told us multiple times to drop our reservation with a street tuk tuk and go with his friend that could "beat his price". We ended up sending our guy away just for the host to change his mind and charge us more 3) the shower head is located next to the toilet (with the drain on the other side of the room) without any structure to contain the water, meaning that every time you shower you effectively flood the entire bathroom. 4) disappointing breakfast, there wasn't even milk for the coffee
