Lonely..was there during the beginning of the slow season, (smoke season) so no other travelers to interact with. This could be a positive as well.

The restaurant was nice, but had limited choice of Lao dishes.

The manager and staff made us feel welcomed and taken care of. The hotel definitely deserves a 4 star rating. The pool was nice and had a good view of the river. It is definitely worth staying there for two nights to break up the trip to Luang Prabang.

Everything you looking for after a day crossing the mekong. A jewel. Location, dramatic landscape, great food and staff.

The hotel is situated on some very very very steep slopes. Getting up and down to the main building was a bit of a haul. You can call the little bus to pick you up but to use the restaurant or other facilities. There were also a lot if steps, not always with handrails so if you have difficulty walking be advised.

The view of the Mekong was spectacular at dawn. Nice rooms, clean and comfortable. Restaurant was adequate.

Shower temperature was hard to control and there was a bad smell coming from the drains in the bathroom. Both easily fixed, I suspect, so these are probably temporary problems that would not be experienced in all rooms.

Excellent staff. Great restaurant and fantastic breakfast. Room was very large and comfortable with fabulous views over the Mekong River. Outdoor space adjacent to room also offered great views over the valley below.

Beautiful property in a fantastic location. Views down the Mekong River valley just breathtaking. Roman’s are spacious, clean and well appointed.

The indoor ambience of the restaurant needs some improvement. Outdoor is nice.

Stayed 2 nights. What a beautiful location, friendly staff, nice spacious room. The view is incredible! If you have the time stay 2 nights. Great food. Not much options for vegetarians.

By far one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff are lovely, the grounds are absolutely stunning, the food is great and the views are breathtaking. I will be telling everyone about this hotel and can’t wait to be back one day.

The location is quite far from the town, so going exploring or looking for a restaurant other than the hotel one is a little bit of a hassle.

Amazing hotel, the rooms are just amazing. And the views are nothing short of spectacular. We were greeted with flowers floating on our little pool/jacuzzi and in the bathtub.

Everything! This Hotel is a gem in this remote village! Stay more than one night so you can fully enjoy the Pool and soak up the beautiful nature around the Hotel. It's not just a Hotel, there's much more behind the scenes. Read about the Hotel on their website. I had an inspiring conversation with the owner, Mr. Ket , who is a great person. I absolutely recommend this beautiful place!

Staff were a bit too attentive but I don’t know if that’s just my personal preference.

Not a problem for us but the hotel is on multiple levels which could be a problem for people with mobility issues.

Spectacular views over the Mekong River. Rooms are big and comfortable. We dined at the restaurant which was also very good. Unfortunately we only booked for one night as we were doing the slow boat cruise from Luang Prabang, I would recommend staying longer. The staff were very good in picking us up and dropping us back at the boat.
