The guy working in the tour office could have been more accommodating. Not that he was unfriendly, but not the level of hospitality that you’re used to in Southeast Asia

I liked the hostel so I was fine with everything.

Good location, could walk where I needed to go. Clean, friendly staff, van service to airport could be booked here, I liked the way the beds were set up. No ladder to climb to top bunk. They had a short set of stairs. There was a locker/cubboard inside the bed area that could be locked. Nice blackout curtains.

It has a reputation as a party place but I didn’t see that. Maybe because I only stayed one night and this was low season.

The dorm rooms were clean, luggage storage under bunks, clean bathrooms with hot water. Best hostel I have stayed in on this trip.

Compared to other mad monkeys it isn’t much of a party hostel. Pool had green fungus in the whole time we were here

Beds are massive, lots of locker space. Great showers and the pool party has amazing views. Food also great. Mopeds and bicycles for rent are brand new. Perfect location - central but in a quiet area.

One of the newer Mad Monkey locations. The beds were very comfortable. Great bathroom facilities for a hostel. Surprisingly not as party focused as other mad monkey locations so if you're not into party hostels this one has a good balance.

Great location and friendly staff. We stayed in a private room, it was clean, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was big. Nice pool area with bar and food options They had activities each night as well. Quiet times from 11pm so you could still sleep.

It was complicated to rent a bike... Different prices depending on the person you talk to. Doors need to be lubricated.

Very comfortable beds in dormitories. Rooms are quite clean. Very nice nice view. Perfect to meet other backpackers.

Prices are in USD which seems like an attempt to make everything more expensive. Food and drinks are quite expensive. Lacks atmosphere.

The place was awsome with nice and comfy beds. We booked motorbikes here and that went smoothly. I also want to give big ups to Rachel, the social host. I highly recommend this place to anyone who want to meet people and still get a good nights sleep (quite at night)

Wi-Fi was hit and miss Price was expensive for drinks and tipsy tubing, compared to other hostels, for exactly the same thing

Such an amazing few days here. Beds were comfy, rooms were spotless, pool was really nice… and most importantly the staff were so amazing. Everyone working behind reception and bar as well as the reps; Rad, Rachel and Toni just made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. Would really recommend- there’s party if you want it but it is also a nice chilled hostel (compared to other mad monkeys)

Rad and Rachel are doing an amazing job starting up this hostel, such a great community and they really make you feel welcome. I extended a few times because it was so fun! The rooms are quiet and the bed are so comfy, the pool is 10/10 with a killer view. Loved it!

So many people in one room

Good location and nice staff. The view is so good . But the problem is about 14 people in one room，I live there two nights and someone come back so late, 2-3am. they talk loudly when they come back. It’s so noisy.

The only problem is the other guests. Everyone is very young: I would say most of the guests are aged around 17-22, and they are here to get drunk and go out to the bars. They come home late and are very noisy. They have conversations and laugh at full volume at 2am, 4am. If that's what you want to do - then this place is perfect. If, however, you value your sleep, then look elsewhere.

The rooms themselves are spotless. The facilities are great. The staff are lovely.
