Really close to the slowboat pier, 4/5 min walk. They will prepare a sandwich for the next day for about 25k/30k kip. AC worked well and you also have hot water if you would like.

Had to remember to avoid concrete pillar in the middle of the very low bed headboard. Charged more than the booked price (either that or a very unfavourable conversion rate). Towels clean but not fresh.

The bathroom is very basic and because of typical Laos drainage it can flood a little, but it is contained within the bathroom so it’s not a huge issue.

The host was superb, catering for our requests and being very attentive. It is a family run guest house and it has that feel to it, being very warm and welcoming. The room is basic but very clean and we had a comfortable nights sleep. The location is perfect, you don’t need to get a tuk tuk from the boat, it’s an easy 5 minute walk up the hill. The host made us a delicious breakfast and sandwich ready to take the next day, which was all prepared on time in preparation for our next boat departure. Amazing value for money.

Very short walk to the slow boat. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely restaurants close by. Comfortable room with air con. Great for an overnight stay.

Very basic accommodation but ok for price and for one night. Bathroom wet room so flooded. Owner doesn’t respond to messages prior to arrival. Quiet noisy at night so bring ear plugs. Only cash accepted.

Good proximity to the pier just a few hundred metres walk up. Friendly host awaiting us. Helpful with organising breakfast and lunch from across the road bakery (think family owned). Nice restaurant Sabidee up the hill a little, great for beers and local food. Easy to pick up breakfast in morning and walk down to boat.

The location is very nice, just a few meters uphill the pier. Right in front you can get breakfast and find several restaurants for dinner in the evening nearby. The owner is friendly.

Alright for one night, great location close to the pier. The room was clean, there was A/C, there were fresh sheets and towels.

No plug close to the bed - the only 2 options were high on the wall (without 1m charging cable not possible to use) Noisy in the morning as it’s on the main road (nothing you can really complain about)

Very friendly and helpful staff, quick check in, short walk from the long boat pier, close to restaurants and small shops. The owners also organise food for you to take away (for a small cost). Room is basic but comfortable and perfect for one night.

Close to the slow boat pier. Simple room no bells or whistles. Comfy bed & clean sheets. Very friendly owner who sorted us a sandwich of our choosing for the next day, ready before 7:30am so we could collect and hop on the boat nice and early. Very welcoming owner. Air con was very appreciated
