The location is a bit remote, but the facilities at the hotel compensate for that.

The only negative would be the street karaoke that went on until 23.00. The outside area overlooking the Mekong river was neglected and could have been so much more inviting if cleaned up.

We had to catch a few mosquitoes. And the cover band at the night market next door played until midnight, but they were pretty good (and it was Saturday night), so no complaints about that.

We loved everything about this place! Location right at the Mekong river, great terrace to gaze over the water with a Beer Lao, clean room, good mattress (not the usual hard bed), super friendly and very helpful staff.

Everything was excellent from initial booking in, the room was very comfortable,the food was beautiful with a excellent atmosphere and view from the terrace across to Mukdahan "the locals can't be wrong", unfortunately my wife was taken ill during the night and she was allowed to stay in the room 3hrs after official booking out time until our taxi arrived (no charge) I would highly recommend this family run hotel 100%

Had a bit of an issue with the aircon but the manager was very helpful. Just wasn't working correctly, that's all. Still cold enough.

Delightful, helpful, friendly staff made it a wonderful stay. The location is fabulous - right on the Mekong river, with sunset views from the beautiful river terrace. Our room was spacious and comfortable, scrupulously clean and with everything we needed. The food was great too - delicious breakfasts and dinners and wonderful coffee! Highly recommended.

For me, the room was a bit dark but that's a personal preference.

Very large room with just the right amount of furniture and heaps of storage space. Fridge and kettle. I requested a fan because I don't like aircon and it was there when I arrived. Good quality towels and bed linen. Views from room and restaurant are beautiful and the restaurant has an extensive menu (Thai, Mexican, Indian); the food is scrumptious. The staff are great and the main people on reception speak excellent English and go out of their way to ensure you are happy. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay during a visa run. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. Great view along the Mekong river. Owner is super kind and helpful. Food is also really good! Recommend the breakfast tacos and banana chocolate cake.

The whole place needs an upgrade, if nothing is done soon the whole place will fall apart. The restaurant is in need of a thorough cleaning incl the windows.

Very nice located at the mighty Mekong River...with a large deck overlooking the river. The rooms with windows are nice with good beds, good working AC, Television, Fridge and clean bathroom. The adjoining restaurant is good for breakfast and other meals. Nice staff and friendly owner.

The only thing i did not like was the currency but that was nothing to do with the hotel , that was down to my brain not working

The location was good , the staff good , motorbike hire from hotel good value 300 baht a day , view from hotel fantastic would stay again , price to customs bridge was 200 baht . The owner of the property was really good at dealing with and issue over payment , i thought i had paid through booking.com but the issue was sorted by him

The restaurant had far more Western items on the menu than Lao. The hotel basically closes on Sundays - they don't even serve breakfast for guests who stay Saturday night. We bought some things from a convenience store the night before and ate them on the terrace. There are not even reception staff there on Sundays so nobody to answer questions or deal with problems.

Nice quiet location away from traffic noise and a wonderful terrace beside the Mekong river. Room was spacious with a screened window so we didn't need to use the A/C. Helpful staff who rented us a motorbike and arranged transport to the airport.
