Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesThe building is kind of vintage, which we expected. However, the lighting in the bathroom gave it a dungeon feel, although very clean. Noisy next door neighbors during the day, but hey this is no different than all Asia.
The staff, location, and price were all good. The staff is very helpful with arranging tours and transportation. They had very low rates for tours as well.

CanadaThe stairway is narrow and hard to see the last step.
The room was in the old town, so it is an older building. They have made it comfortable. It is within walking distance of many places. There is a night market nearby every night.

United KingdomWe stayed an extra night and had to move to a room on the ground floor of the building next door. It was half the price and you could tell why! Mechanical noises from the A/C were so loud that we couldn’t sleep, and when we turned it off, the room became unbearably hot. Lack of air circulation meant that the room was dark and smelled damp. We would have liked it more if they served breakfast.
Convenient location down a quiet charming side street. We booked one of the upstairs double rooms with balcony and it was really great, very clean with good facilities and comfy bed. Free bananas were a bonus.

NorwaySheet was dirty underneath the blanket. Its probably been washed but not successfully. Did not ruin my night. No breakfast.
Wery close to city centre. Charming neighbourhood with narrow streets. Close to the Mekong and the restaurants alongside the river. Close to nightmarket. Wery good price. (26usd) and serviceminded staff. Breakfast restaurant just 50.meter up the street with good options.
