ViengTara VangVieng Resort absolutely exceeded my expectations! This place is pure magic! The moment I arrived, I was speechless. The resort boasts stunning views of rice paddies and majestic mountains. It's a postcard-perfect setting that will leave you breathless. Walking to your villa is an experience in itself. You get to stroll through serene rice fields, surrounded by the beauty of nature. The villas themselves are incredible! They are spacious, luxurious, and tastefully decorated. The in-room breakfast service was fantastic. They deliver a delicious and fresh breakfast right to your balcony, allowing you to enjoy the incredible views while you savor your meal.

Bathroom is old, especially the shower. Staff was not very efficient and helpful. They give you the feeling that all they want is your money. Not very professional. Hôtel restaurant to be avoided: food is really not good and very expensive for the area. Breakfast looks beautiful but taste is so so.

The cushions on the patio/terrace were stained and had been affected by rain. Would just suggest making sure those are cleaned and perhaps a slight update to bathroom. But otherwise very lovely room and atmosphere. And the bed was comfy!

The breakfast in room was lovely and ordered dinner in and they were fast and accommodating.

This hotel is a blissful sanctuary of peace and beauty on the edge of VangViang..... at the moment, they have eight delightful Villas overlooking their own small rice fields and looking on to the sensational mountains. There are six other rooms in the central area. This is an exceptional hotel with wonderful staff and nothing to criticise at all. We lovedvit and had four very happy days in ViangTara.

Nothing related to the hotel! Only one word of warning - if arriving on foot, the little wooden bridge over the river isn't particularly fun at night with a heavy suitcase!

The view from the rooms is second-to-none... can't honesty think when I've stayed somewhere with such spectacular scenery! Breakfasts were wonderful, the staff went above and beyond to help with anything we needed, and the rooms were excellent. Can't recommend it highly enough. Also had some blindingly good (and pretty spicy) chicken wings and duck larb as a late snack on arrival - can highly recommend! Exceptionally good value for money, and what a special setting.

Warm welcome on arrival. Clean, spacious room. Superb views of the mountains. Peaceful and relaxing. Great location - close to the town center across the bridge. Good choices for breakfast. Bar fridge was stocked with complimentary soft drinks, water and beer lao. Also, snacks, tea and coffee that were replaced daily. Kudos to Noy for helping me with the train & hot air balloon booking, and an extra night to stay at the hotel.
