Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomYes the steps up and down the resort do require a certain level of physical fitness and mobility, and walking to and from Soufriere also gives you a workout but that justifies a rum punch at the end of it!
A unique resort, the view of the Piton is spectacular, friendly and helpful staff, really good food and terrific cocktails! Room was spacious, very comfortable, well stocked and replenished daily. The mini fridge was a decent size and perfect for our needs.

United StatesAlthough we were never in a hurry, sometimes we were pretty hungry and thirsty, and would have to wait a little longer than we’d like to get our food and drinks. They definitely had a full house when we were there, but sometimes the wait was a bit much.
Green Fig was a very special place. The panoramic views from the swimming pool and restaurant/bar were exceptional. The swimming pool is pretty small but very deep and super refreshing after a hot day. Our room was tucked into the side of the hill, almost built inside of a cave. The outside area was open and overlooks the Piton. That’s what really made this room so special. My wife and I enjoyed sitting out there near sunset, listening to all the sounds beneath us in the town below while looking out over the ocean sipping a cocktail. This place was all about location. The staff was very nice and helpful and the food was good. But, nothing moves fast here, so don’t be in a hurry. We really enjoyed our stay.

United KingdomBreakfast was little small, especially the fruits. A little bit more effort could be made of the tidiness around the parking area and the odd bits lying around in the greenery
The staff were so welcoming and helpful, the beds were extremely comfortable and large, the rooms were extraordinarily clean, the views were amazing, the bartender Onion was super nice and made hanging out there in the evening such fun, thank you everyone

United StatesWe loved the Green Fig! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It has a great vibe with guests hanging out by the bar and dinner tables. We loved its location in the hillside with lots of stairs up and down so you felt like you were in a secret treehouse. The drinks were amazing and the views, especially at night were also amazing. We also loved our dinner (the Thai Green Curry was awesome) at the on-site restaurant and watching the sunset from one of the many terraces. We were originally booked in a Superior Queen, but switched with no problem to a Standard King Room, which I would highly recommend! If you have time, we also recommend snorkeling at the beach by Anse Chastanet - about a ten minute bumpy taxi ride - we saw sea turtles and lots of fish. And the restaurant has amazing ceviche.

Short walk down the hill to the water, view of Petit Piton, excursions well orchestrated, warm staff, size and layout promoted interaction with other guests, food was amazing, Soufriere futbol pitch with running track close by

NetherlandsWe had to walk quite a few steep stairs going down to our apartment as the resort is on slope, so if you are not able to do that ask for a room closer to the restaurant.
Very nice resort which lies on the north slope of the bay area of Soufrière. Everything was well organised and we ended up with a private tour around Sliver Springs as there were no other guests going on the same morning. Breakfast was nice and lunch/dinner (paid for separately) was quite good. The pools were nice too.

United StatesWe would have appreciated a few more hooks in the room to help wet things dry. Having AC in the room was wonderful, but it didn’t fully reach the loft bed, so we were glad for the extra fan too. Would also have liked some better lighting in the loft - we ended up bringing up a table lamp and that helped.
Amazing location - unbelievable views!! The facility was very well appointed, with multiple pools, comfortable public spaces, and live music many nights. We appreciated the balcony in our room, our “neighborhood” pool, and the included breakfast (very tasty). The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

MalaysiaThe stairs from the room to restaurant/reception are pretty steep and probably not ideal for people with mobility issues. I am 60+ and didn't particularly struggle but was definitely blowing at the top climbing up!
The breathtaking view of the bay and the Pitons is quite remarkable, to be able to see that from our room every day and during breakfast, dinner etc was a joy. The staff were super nice, very helpful (esp Tasha on reception with her restaurant and things to do tips, plus Onion in the bar doing his thing!). The spa was very good and the restaurant food was simple but used quality ingredients and well presented. So overall a very enjoyable stay.

In our room you could really hear the town's bustling bars (music) and dogs barking, but this isn't the hotel's fault at all. Would still love to come back!
Loved our stay here!! Incredible staff (especially Onion), great location close to the local town Soufriere, great restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The views of the Piton and the sea are unbelieveable, and can be seen from the resturant, bar, pool and rooms. Really recommend this hotel and also the Treetop restaurant up the road for sn early dinner. We rented a car, and the parking was great, saw some comments on terrible pot holes, but it was generally fine.

United KingdomNothing! The entrance by car can be a bit scary because it’s steep for some.
The view is fantastic! The room is spacious clean, well design, comfortable and all we had wished for! It’s walkable distance from the town. Michael the manager is super helpful and we had great chat.

France- Please note that the room we had was open to the outside (which was very pretty) but it was quite noisy (noise from the town below: dogs, chickens, music, etc.). - The town of Soufriere is not very nice / no nice restaurants (but very nice beaches and opposite the Pitons!)
- The view from the hotel - Very large room with superb balcony - The pools, which give the impression of having an almost private pool - The staff were very attentive (especially Kitty and the handyman - unfortunately I can't remember his name) - The restaurant is quite good with a local and international menu - The cocktails in the bar are good

United StatesThe driveway up to where you park is pretty treacherous. Bottomed out the rental car pretty hard on a pothole. We went in August and the summer heat along with the staircases had us pretty sweaty going up and down but we didn't mind.
This was amazingly beautiful. I'm not sure what I was expecting but this exceeded my expectation. Really, really cool location, very private and different than any resort I've ever been to. Very hospitable and helpful/friendly staff. Felt like a bargain for how cool it was.
