No bath mat or pool towels in room.

Spacious and comfortable room with excellent beds and air-con. Big beautiful trees surrounded large pool in peaceful rural setting. Chef Akile prepared delicious food eaten in elevated restaurant to catch the breeze. Highlight was the fun billiard/ pool comp with lovely hosts and other guests on Saturday night, as well as the temples and stupas we visited.

The property shows obvious signs of wear and tear, but renovations are going on. The sign boards to the property should be improved, and the google map navigation was off by a street.

it was really really nice, calm and quiet with a great pool. And I should specially mention the food! my god the food was lovely. Kudos to Chef Akila and his assistant Prasanna. Akila was exceptionally committed to make the food as fresh and delicious as possible. He went the extra mile to check on our itinerary and prepare the food ready at exactly when we arrive at the property to have a warm and hearty meal. Would definitely visit again! Thank you for making our stay wonderful.

The place is isolated, which we really liked. To go to other restaurants than the one in the hotel you will have to take a tuktuk (which can be easily arranged), but the hotel restaurant has good food so we had most of our meals there.

We loved this hotel. It is in a beautiful and quiet location with a huge swimming pool to relax at. Our room was lovely with a big terrace. The restaurant has great food and the staff was really helpful and nice.

The hotel is situated in a secluded paradise. Wildlife abounds. Such a relaxed situation. The restaurant was open whenever you wanted something. And the food was excellent. There is a massive pool where the guests can spread out for privacy.

It was difficult to find because the name used by booking.com - Hotel 4 u at Saliya was in fact signed as Saliya Garden. Our taxi driver stopped many times to ask a local and they could not recognise the name.

Upil was an attentive and interesting host. He made sure everything was as we asked and made us his special Arak cocktail. Food excellent and too much but leftovers used to feed others😀 Location very peaceful and described by taxi driver as ‘very jungle-y ‘. Bed comfortable and room large. A great place to just chill. Would have liked to stay longer.

Actually nothing was bad, maybe not very modern but for us that was absolutely no problem. And the internet is very fast for the once who need it.

The people where fantastic, the food whas perfect and you realy feel like in the middle of the jungle but safe 😉 Very relaxing place to be away of your everyday things.

I would have liked other alcoholic drink options as the only alcoholic drink available was local beer.

Great big pool to cool down in after day activities. Quiet location. Helpful staff booked tuk tuk drivers to drive us around for a reasonable price.

Nothing to dislike just WiFi is little slow so I suggest to buy a local SIM card with data and this will working perfectly.

Absolutely loved this place! I rented a single room and I was showed two at the check-in to choose from. Room has everything you need. AC is working properly but no need at the night time. I stayed 2 days only but didn’t had a single issue. Stunning swimming pool with little terrace near with beautiful illumination at night, restaurant with an amazing food and you can play the pool table after the dinner. Upali-the owner and his daughter Utara are just the most sweetest and helpful people on this planet. What ever you ask them for or need they will make sure you get it. Location is very good as chill and quiet out from the busy centre and that is what I was looking for. Surrounded by palms and trees with sound of the birds makes you feel like in the paradise. Please don’t expect this hotel to be a 4 star European’s standard but this is definitely in Sri Lanka a high standard accommodation. Highly recommended as it is a very good value for money asked.
