We had a lovely stay for one night at this beautiful hotel with its more than friendly staff. Also we went on safari to the national park with one of their drivers (Shantha), who really was a nice guy.

The food was home cooked by the host's mother and wife, all of them were very authentic, delicious and very delicious. The morning safari was very special. The driver namal was very responsible and gave us a perfect safari.

Lovely pool area. I think rooms are better option than apartment - take 2 rooms unless you have kids and need them near. Very attentive staff, good food. Friendly atmosphere. Good base from where you can take a safari.

Really friendly welcome and the home cooked dinner was some of the best food we have had in Sri Lanka, don't bother to eat out this is the best. Pretty location felt like you were in the jungle.

Great location close to the national park. Friendly staff , helpful with any requests that we had including the chef who catered to my gluten free requirements brilliantly - he was thorough and made some lovely dishes it was much appreciated . Nice clean rooms. Good swimming pool.

There is so much love to detail and exquisite designs. The food cooked by his mom and wife was one of the best curries we had in sri lanka. Mihiri also booked a safari for us and we were so happy about our guide. It was very helpful that you could pay for everything through an online link. Definitely recommend.

The warm welcome and style of the property, great accommodation everything you could need , plenty of towels, toiletries, coffee and tea . The host is so helpful and our meal the first night cooked by his wife was delicious and packed breakfast for safari was perfect.The safari arrange by host was perfect. Also nearby a great place to visit is the garlic restaurant,had some great food in a fab location.

We headed to Udawalawa for a safari and picked this accommodation based on a recommendation from another traveller who said she’d done a brilliant safari with the son of the owner hotel. The safari was incredible and very easy to organise through the accommodation.

We arrived a night earlier than originally booked having contacted the owner to see if he could squeeze us in. We stayed in one of the huts for the first night as it was the only one available at such short notice. This was fine. The bed was enormous, the outside bathroom was quirky. We moved the next day in to the room with the plunge pool (there is only one of these) - this was great for our return from the safari to sit in and cool down in after a long day out. The safari was arranged by the owner and we had an excellent driver, a jeep to ourselves. We did the full day safari and can't recommend it enough. We saw very little in the way of elephants in the morning, but saw loads of other wildlife, the driver was confident we would see herds at around lunchtime as his experience has shown him that they come out at this time of day to cool down in the watering holes and mud baths.

Amazing dinner! Definitely try it! We also booked the safari with the host who was a very good safari guide, spotting so many animals. Incredibly kind and helpful couple. Can wholeheartedly recommend to stay there.

The property was lovely, clean and had good ac and hot shower. We stayed here to do a safari in Udawalawe which the hotel sorted and it was great! The staff are so friendly and helpful. I left my watch and they organised sending it to my next hotel. Definitely recommend in Udawalawe.

Two very nice pools, a big garden and playground was great with small kids. The setting is very nice and lush. Also the restaurant on the premises was good and convenient. The staff was very nice. We did the afternoon safari which was very well arranged.

Very beautiful property in the middle of nature with nice pool. Bungalow was very nice and the outdoor bathroom was really cool. Staff was friendly and attentive. We booked safari through the hotel and we can not be more happy as we had wonderful driver/guide sanjeewa. He is very knowledgeable, he knew how to find lot of different birds and animals and took us close to elephants. He is also very good driver, we felt safe (we had toddler with us) and had great time with sanjeewa

They are very spacious and comfortable, especially the bathroom is spectacular! The hotel organizes Safaris and also help with transportation to the next location. Breakfast ist a mixture between Sri Lankan and continental, which is great and offers options for everybody. We also loved to relax in the pool!
