There were two buildings, the one where I stood was like a guesthouse, as the family also lived there. I think it would be better do not give a rent the rooms that inside that one, as the family has their own lifestyle, start the day from 6 am, and it was a bit disturbing.

The location is a good one - near to the cafes and markets, at the same time far away from the street noise. There were a pool in villa area. The staff was very kind and nice. I felt comfortable there.

We loved the staff as they were so accommodating but also, happy to leave us to our own company. We felt fully supported when we needed advise or guidance but, equally were able to enjoy our time alone. We loved the villa - the location, the cleanliness and the quiet.

Very good view from the room, directly by the pool. It felt like we booked our own villa. The staff were lovely and so friendly, they came with the things we needed when we asked for it. We did never had a problem! We will definitely book a room at this place again when we come back to Sri Lanka! We would definitely recommend this to everyone that comes to Ahangama!

The only thing I’m worried about is the same room not being available next time I visit Sri Lanka after all the great reviews they will surely get

I initially booked 3 nights but ended up staying two weeks. The property has everything you would need - communal pool and kitchen with AC, fridge and necessary furniture in the room. Scooter rental on site at a very fair rate. Great location walkable to both high end restaurants and local bakeries and curry spots. The entire property is spotless as there are a handful of full time workers making sure the pools, common areas and rooms are swept and cleaned. Big shout out to Prabash and team for always being there for anything I needed. He gave me his WhatsApp when I checked in so it was easy to get in touch for anything I needed

The staff was friendly and the rooms provided were big enough to accommodate 3 adults. The pool was also very good and the owner was also helpful in placing us near the pool villa at ground floor

Excellent hotel with really friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are spacious and clean with a great outside communal space. Well equipped kitchen if you want to cook something. The pool is maintained everyday and super refreshing! Excellent location only a short walk to town and the beach but the rooms and location are peaceful and nice to relax. One of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka. Photos do not do this place justice!

Lovely room. Cool, clean, and spacious. Our room was in the old building, and had a wardrobe, and lots of lovely dark-wood furnushings. Hot water, fridge, decent WiFi. The staff are lovely, professional, and very keen to help. Great location for Ahangama's best bars, and the local surf spots.
