The way to the beach takes 10 minutes. But when you are there, you will find one of the beautiful beaches you’ve ever seen - white, long and empty.

Very gentle staff. Here you will find big villas in the middle of palms and plants and a large pool. The prices are fair and all is clean. We enjoyed the stay here.

The mosquito nets were quite small and since our rooms were without aircon with „natural ventilation“ we got bitten quite a bit.

Located within walking distance of the nice beach of Kalkudah. The rooms are spacious and modern. Great, refreshing pool. Inexpensive restaurant with good food.

The staff and owner went above and beyond to help out with anything we needed. They even organized a quick repair of our vehicle! We felt welcome from the first second. The pool and all other facilities were spotless clean, the room spacious. Breakfast and dinner were amazing. The beach is a 5min walk away.

A bit far away from the village, but a tuktuk ride is just 500 RS.

Town is walking distance from place. Town beach is nice with local people swimming. Pool is good size and nice. Wild beach is few minutes walk away but has no facilities (no bar, no shade).

We rested here for about a month, passed unnoticed. Perfect staff, it's like a big friendly family. They cooked dishes according to our wishes. A huge beautiful garden, we could eat fruit from a tree))) Very good hotel owner , helped us in everything. Large clean swimming pool. It was sad to leave. We will return here with pleasure.

Wifi was weak

Large nice villa, rather recently built, clean. Nice swimming pool. Very nice people, and excellent cuisine, not expensive. The place is rather isolated. 500m from a long, long ocean beach with no one but a few fishermen, and dogs when it is not too hot. We loved it. Not much to do but to relax there and enjoy the beach if you like the waves.

Almost nothing we disliked. Perhaps non AC villas are questionable as even with fan it is hot inside. Plus insects / bugs, frogs or lizards might be your neighbors at night. Not much to do when it gets dark. But that did not spoil our vacation

Hard to specify what we liked most. We liked AKI VILLA! The location is 30 minutes walk from most hotels in Pasikuda but for us it was good with not many people around. The facility is very well maintained, it is very green. Lots of mango, coconut trees and palms on the territory. The pool is warm, very clean and welcoming :) We had breakfasts included - it was Sri Lankan type, very tasty and it was enough till dinner in the evening. Dinners we had there were one the best meals we ever had. So tasty. The lady that cooks all meals is fantastic. We even asked for some recipies. Beach - should I say- empty beach is just 7 minutes walk from villa. Most likely you will be accopanied by two lovely dogs from villa. And they will guard you as well if someone tries to come close to you. The staff - Mr. Vinod was extremely helpful, he helped us to get a medicine from local pharmacy, gave us a tent for the beach and tried to fullfill our every smallest wish. So if you want to have calm and peaceful time it is definately the place.

The hotel is quiet isolated and you'd need to take a tuk tuk to nearby Kalkudah if you wanted better dining choices. There's nothing to do nearby - you can walk to Kalkudah beach in about 10 minutes but it's windswept, dirty and apart form the odd fisherman deserted, so not a place to linger long

Aki VIlla is a decent enough place to stay if you are passing along the east coast. Rooms, in separate villas are large and quiet with a good, large bed (with mosquito net) and a decent bathroom. The main attraction is the swimming pool, set in a pleasant garden area. There are no sun shades but comfortable loungers are provided on request. Staff are friendly and helpful but not always around during the day. Food is available on site and was OK but nothing special. Breakfasts were included in our price and again, no more than OK.

There were a lot of mosquitos in the room, and the mosquito nets had holes. Our sleep quality was terrible. We did not raise the concern with the owners, but I'm sure they would have sorted it had we informed. So no stars lost here.

The cottage has no air conditioning and nothing matches there description. Washrooms in the cottage have no locks, especially one washroom is open type where there is no roof above ( first time experienced this type of thing) . They say they provide an electric kettle but they don’t. Moreover there is no WiFi connection in the rooms. There television doesn’t work and there aren’t any toiletries in the washrooms. I had my horrible experience in this place. Staff are rude also, I definitely do not recommend this place to stay. Not worth for the money, instead you can stay in hotel east lagoon Batticoloa to get the best out of Batticoloa, there prices are also reasonable. Thank you

They told us there might be frogs in the bathroom. We wouldn’t have had a problem with frogs, but there were cockroaches coming out of the toilet. That’s net okay! It was pretty loud at night, we woke up a few times. The Wi-Fi didn’t reach far enough to the little house and so we couldn’t really use it.

The family who owns the hotel was extremely nice and very pleasant to be around. The pool was great and the property of the hotel was beautiful and had a lot of fruits and vegetables!
