The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, simple, with good mosquito nets and fans. we received a very warm welcome with tea and delicious cake! the bungalows are very private and peaceful, set in shady grounds in a quiet area. All the food was delicious and available in huge proportions! Our hosts arranged an absolutely brilliant afternoon safari at a good price, our guide, their son, was so respectful of the animals and nature and was extremely knowledgeable, answering all of our questions. He was great at spotting the wildlife and we saw loads - many elephants, of course, but also lots of other birds and animals. We were really satisfied. our hosts also arranged transport to the elephant rehabilitation centre which was well worth it. The communal dining was lovely, we enjoyed meeting other guests and the monkeys provided much entertainment!

The property location is great for a safari stopover as it is located 12 minutes from the national park entry. The staff is caring and happy to assist. Best feature is the outdoor pool which is great.

Beautifully designed accommodation and attention to detail everywhere. Super friendly hosts who seem to really care about making sure you have the best stay. Organised Udawalawe and Yala national parks tours through them, both very good.

Bathroom was not clean, mouldy and a lot of insects. Pool was not being used by guests as did not look clean.

This property really is paradise! The pool is gorgeous and the gardens are beautiful. The rooms are self contained, large and modern! Lovely balcony looking over the jungle. The main man who looked after us (I cant remember his name but he makes the coffee!) was my favourite host in Sri Lanka so far. He was so helpful, warm and friendly and it was never too much! The coffee he makes is the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka!

The Wi-Fi is really slow and almost not working, but that’s the only negative thing :)

Really nice place and staff. Nice pool. Good food. Mosquitoenet, air conditioner and fridge in the room - all working perfectly. We had a great stay and great value for the money! Perfect place to stay 2-3 days if you go in safari. You can relax by the pool (which is outdoor) on great sun beds in the afternoon.

Nice style of accommodation for something different, great pool! Good amenities and working hot water and wifi (which seems hard to come by in Sri Lanka). Helpful with organising safari Had a lovely stay for the purpose of going to the national park.

The room was spacious and clean and on the small terrace you can sit very nicely and relax. The hotel staff were very, very friendly and took care of all our concerns (safari, taxi, etc.). Both the dinner and the breakfast were exceptionally good, we would stay there again anytime.
