Nothing negative - prices are fairly expensive once tax and service added, but that is to be expected for a 5* resort.

The whole experience was amazing - the chalets and views are beautiful, staff so helpful, and food very good. We did a lovely walk from the hotel and were given a map to do this. If you want to splash out the massages are incredible!

- Overpriced food and drink, I would even call it Extortionate pricing. Probably the most expensive food prices of any of the 5 star hotels I stayed in Sri Lanka. - Location isn't great. It's about 35 to 45 minutes drive from Ella town.

- Spa facilities are incredible, hydropool, cold plunge, steam/sauna room and massage rooms all the very best quality. - The gym is actually state of the art, some equipment I have never seen in UK gyms. - Massage therapists are very experienced and very welcoming, kind, good people. - Staff were caring and thoughtful. - Rooms are good for families, but definitely not the best value for money rooms.

One area for improvement is the treatment of private drivers, who play a key role in the guests' experience but aren't always treated equally. A simple gesture like offering them the same welcome drink as guests would be a thoughtful recognition of their contribution, ensuring everyone feels respected and valued right from the start.

Our stay at Anasa was spectacular, a true gem with breathtaking views that photos can't fully capture. The peaceful, well-kept gardens and the exceptional staff, especially Ranil and Shadi, made our visit unforgettable. Their attention to detail, from recommending a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast to preparing a special street food dinner, made us feel incredibly special. The pool is quite small and under roof so if you expect to spend there much time, keep that in mind:) we stayed there only for 2 nights so we didn't really care.

The Chalet was well appointed and very comfortable. However, if you are a party of 4 adults, and, book one challet the two upstairs has a less comfortable sleeping space.

The food was excellent. well prepared and beautifully served. the staff was kind, attentive and exceptionally friendly. The SPA facility is outstanding. Loved the privacy afforded to each treatment. excellent the therapist, really luxurious!

The location is out of this world, so calming, beautiful views, exceptional staff that go out of their way for you, great facilities, the best massage we’ve ever had, and great, fresh food! It’s such a peaceful and beautiful place - a perfect spot to reenergize! The chalets are very clean, spacious, comfortable and have breathtaking views. The whole place is super relaxing, there’s plenty of activities (squash, tennis court, basket ball court, a great hybrid gym) and their massages are not to be missed! The staff is all wonderful, very friendly and personal, they really make you feel taken care of. We would come back 😊

It would be nice to have more variety of gluten & soy free options on the menu. What we did eat was delicious. Portion sizes are large or just right. Everything was fresh and tasty. We really enjoyed it!

The location is stunning. Waking up and being able to bask in the sun on the deck looking out onto the hills was breathtaking. We enjoyed the service, the kindness of the staff and the food. The massages we had were phenomenal. We felt relaxed, so comfortable, and it was just what we needed in the middle of our two weeks in Sri Lanka.

For the price you pay a lot of things are not included. You have to pay to use the Sauna for example and certain pieces of specialist Gym equipment. Meals are overpriced especially breakfast when you have no options externally

The facilities are amazing and so are the views from the rooms. The location is unique and would recommend. The chalets are very spacious and you are looked after well by the staff.

The one thing I didn’t enjoy was the price of food and drinks, these are European prices in Sri Lanka. I would say this property should consider an all inclusive model, as you are a 40 minute drive from Ella, you either pay the high prices or drive, not ideal.

This property has every facility one could ask for to keep yourself entertained, we played tennis, used the gym, did Yoga. The property is immaculate, food was amazing, the staff friendly and kind. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. I liked that our children could explore the property unsupervised.
