We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaGreat stay at Anveela. The staff were very friendly and helpful with all our needs including helping with recommendations, tuk tuks and overall information. The breakfast was great and very filling which resulted in not needing to eat lunch on a few of the days. If you enjoy Sri Lankan food then you'll love the breakfast. There is of course bread, spreads and omelette if wanted. Rooms were spacious and we had an air-conditioned room which was nice when it was hot although the rooms stayed relatively cool. The pool is very nice for a swim at any time of the day. The whole property is extremely clean which including pool area and breakfast which was free from sand and dirt. I do recommend and thanks to the staff for a great stay.

GermanyBreakfast was unfortunately below Sri Lanka standard. Very low variety and every day a little less food, on the last morning only continental breakfast (we stayed 4 nights). The nearby beach is not the nicest one, but that’s of course not Nilan’s fault :) The pool area definitely needs more shadow / sun shades (there is only one).
Feels brand new, very spacious. Probably the cleanest apartment in Sri Lanka - mean it! Equipped with all furniture, fridge / freezer combination etc. you need - not more and not less :) subjectively, some decorative elements would make the room more cozy. Bathroom with hot water boiler and decent water pressure. Rare and welcome exception in Sri Lanka. Owner (Nilan) and his caretaker were both very friendly and helpful. A noisy fan in one bedroom was fixed within a day. Very clean pool!

SpainWe had booked this hotel as our last night relax before we flew home. Unfortunately, we got a text the day of check in saying that due to unforseen circumstances, the people in our room wouldnt be able to vacate. To start with we were very disappointed, although the situation was explained and we understood. But they were brilliant (although they had alot going on) and sorted us another hotel, just down the road which was absolutely amazing, it was all very easy and sorted by them. The owner also contacted us after check in to makr sure we were happy. If we ever come back to sri lanka, we would definately try this hotel!!!

I would give Anveela 20 or 30 out of 10 for cleanliness alone. Everything and everywhere you look it was spotless, not a spec of dust. Hard to believe the property is 7 years old. Family rooms and the double were very spacious. We had 3 rooms/apartments. All very spacious. Property is a short walk to the beach. The pool was clean and warm even during the evening, not sure if it was heated. Nilan had arranged a tuk-tuk for going towards the city/stores. Return trip costed 600LKR including waiting at Cargill. On New year's eve we saw fireworks from the balcony, which was a bonus.

My stay in Anveela hotel was amazing, the personnel is very kind and they care a lot about their clients and their needs, you will always get help with any question you might have. The rooms are very cozy, clean and spacious with beautiful views. The location is also perfect as the beach is right behind the hotel, there are also lots of shops, cafes and restaurants in the area. I'm also very grateful for the tastiest breakfasts and dinners with local food. Also would like to highlight the excursions the hotel provides as the guide is also very responsible and shows the most interesting places in Sri Lanka! I definitely recommend Anveela as this hotel is comfortable and secure 👏

RussiaThis is undoubtedly the best booking experience. not only in Sri Lanka, but anywhere. the hotel meets all the needs of both a layman and a person with big requests. a beautiful new building with clean, free and beautifully decorated rooms and common areas. there is a swimming pool in excellent condition, where it is pleasant to relax. there is a kitchen where delicious dishes will be prepared for you, when choosing an option or a spontaneous order. or you can, by agreement, periodically cook something yourself from fresh and cheap products bought at the local market. all this is constantly monitored and cared for. everything is thoroughly cleaned and washed. special thanks to the owner of the hotel and the staff: they create an unobtrusive, but very warm family atmosphere and will not allow you to need anything or get upset about something. the location is very good: the hotel is a 5-minute walk along the cleanest beautiful, well-groomed territory to the beach, which is beautiful: clean, beautiful sand with a very smooth depression, which will please both wave lovers and vacationers with families with young children - everything is safe here. there is a guest-only area on the beach line where you can feel free and comfortable. very close there are restaurants with really delicious food, with an expressive taste of products, not 1000 spices) this is a great accommodation option, which I can definitely say, because I have been to Sri Lanka a lot and there is something to compare it with. at the same time, you get premium service for more than an acceptable amount. I am very glad that I visited Nilan, and I advise you to experience his hospitality, if you are going to this area or are nearby - you will be delighted and will not regret visiting. very recommendable
