The very kind owner Asanka welcomed us very warmly. Asanka's wife Sadamali served us a wonderful local meal for dinner. They prepared an excellent safari trip. The jacuzzi tub was great to sit back and cool off after a long day on safari. We had an excellent driver for the safari, and a jeep to ourselves. We did the full day safari and can highly recommend it. In the morning we saw a lot of wild animals, and the driver was sure we would see herds around lunchtime, as his experience showed that they come out and cool off at this time of day. He was not wrong. We saw 3 different herds of elephants this day and when we saw the largest herd of 12 there was not another jeep around!!! An amazing experience. This is the only hotel in Sri Lanka designed by one person alone. For that, Asanka has used lakhs of stones from the river and he has all the videos of the creation. It's really amazing. I recommend 100%.

The accommodation in the middle of the natural environment was absolutely beautiful. The hosts were immediately welcoming and hospitable. The bed and room were spacious enough. Dinner was absolutely lovely. The safari organized by the host company with their excellent driver is also very good.

Nice quiet place. The lodge is great, the most relaxing environment I have had in Sri Lanka, the jacuzzi tub is perfect for a dip after a long safari. The owner and staff are very kind. The lodge organized my private safari and my guide, the driver Jana, was excellent. I actually liked my Udawalawe safari better than the Yala safari.

We stayed one night at this lovely accommodation. The owner is amazing! He is very attentive and prepared a special dinner for us. The food is very delicious. We were served various curries. This is a glamping/camping experience and it is wonderful. This is a good experience for a few nights. The safari experience they give us is amazing. The chirping of birds near a beautiful river is endless. This was the best quiet environment we had in Sri Lanka. We were like our own place.

Amazing place! Everything is beautiful! The place is really nice and clean. We were in a quiet and relaxing space next to a river. Hammocks, jacuzzi tab are wonderful. A precious rental car was prepared to go to Ella, our next destination. We only booked one night but wish we could have stayed longer. This was the best accommodation we had during our stay in Sri Lanka.

We loved the peaceful location. Asanka and his family were excellent hosts. His mother's cooking is excellent! The safari arranged for us by Asanka was excellent. Beautiful tents near a river. On the edge of Udawalawa, inside a garden full of nature. Very helpful and friendly host. After a while, when we came back from the safari, he gave us a very refreshing glass of fruit juice. Will recommend this place to others.

They have a super beautiful and tranquil garden next to a river. The rooms are beautiful with an outdoor shower, so you can shower in privacy while enjoying nature. The food was amazing, our favorite of the entire trip was the rice and local curries. It is run by a family and they are very nice, they helped us with everything and arranged a safari for us in a private jeep at a super price. Best place we stayed in Sri Lanka.

The lodge is a 15-minute drive from Udawalawa National Park. A great place with amazing freedom. The safari and dinner (affordable) were amazing. Asanka (the owner) offered many options for safari depending on the time we arrived at his property. Asanka does everything possible to make her guests feel comfortable and cater to all their needs.

This is a wonderful place. Friendly staff, very nice free environment. We swim in the river. The wildlife around us that we love. We saw monkeys, lizards, frogs and more. Our room was clean and comfortable. The highlight was their safari. It is strongly recommended.
