We really enjoyed our stay in this villa. A quiet and cozy place, wonderful owners who helped with all questions. The villa is spacious, there is a kitchen where you can cook and a washing machine. The air conditioner cools the room very well, it is pleasant to sleep in it. Everything is very clean and comfortable.wi-fi works without problems, it is enough even for remote work. Everything is great about the location of the villa too, it is a quiet place away from the road with a beautiful view of the river. The beach, supermarkets and the train station are just a short walk away. We are very grateful for your care and we advise everyone to choose this place to stay in Weligama.

The communication with the host was easy and responsive. The host warmly welcomed us and took care of all our daily needs. The location is within a short walking distance from the beach and many shops, restaurants and cafes, and near the bus and train stations, but still on its own quiet alley close to the river. The host showed us parts of their culture, which was such a lovely experience, and helped us feel at home.

A little out of the way for me as a solo traveller but very quiet and peaceful so not too much of a problem.

Small kitchen so you can make a basic meal, cup of tea etc. Great aircon. Great WiFi. Comfortable bed with mosquito net. Very helpful and kind owner. Washing machine was very welcome to be able to refresh my clothes. Fantastic view of the Lagoon at the bottom of the garden.

Almost everything is OK

Location is very good. Close to supermarket, a lot of cafe and restaurants are near, also 5 minutes by walking to the beach and surf spots. Big territory outside You can even prepare food on the grill outside Ver nice and friendly owners, help in all questions

I came with my girlfriend and we had the most amazing stay at this property. The location is peaceful, right next to the river and the rooms itself is spacious and beautiful. It has a small equipt kitchen and really everything you need. The property is surrounded by fruit trees and we saw many wild animals. Avendra and her husband and very kind and accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We were even brought some traditional sri lankan food to try! Price was very reasonable and location is a quick scoot or 10 minute walk away from Weligama center. Highly recommended

The hosts were really kind, the accomodation is located in a quiet street. The room was quite big, with a small kitchen where we could make our juice and omlettes.

The place is really nice and I hate leaving bad reviews, but my expectations were not met so I just want to list some things that you won’t find in accommodation description: - the location not obvious as booking and all maps show the house where hosts live, not the house you book. but it is still not far, so in fact it is not a problem - there ac actually 2 houses one after another. it seems you will have a private territory with garden for yourself but it is not so. we already lived in Weligama and wanted to move to the house for New Year and one day before I came to check were to come in order to find the place easier next day. 1) I was surprised when saw 2 houses 2) The house near the river was already occupation but when I asked if we could move in in there tomorrow the host said yes. But next day she said the guys decided to stay longer and we have to take back-house 3) if you live in back-house you don’t see garden and river, but can use it. Though it is strange as it is a part of first-house territory and it is awkward to take other guest place and sit there together. Meantime the price for both houses is the same - there is a washing machine currently mentioned in facilities and it was one of the main filer for us when we were looking for house as we wanted to wash our clothes (before NY especially), but when I asked where I can find it the host said that there is no machine but I can use a bucket - AC was almost not working. everyday it showed an error and we had to switch it off, then plug off, plug in again and wait for some time. I assume it was a temporary issue or it really was too hot and wet weather for equipment but anyway - WiFi was working but the speed was ok for phone, not for laptops. So we used mobile internet - when we asked for price in rupees one day before check out it appeared the rate is 235 (official one is 202). we’ve been traveling around Sri-Lanka for 1,5 month and never met host’s conversation more than 204.

The place is calm and nice, territory is clean and you can see sunset from the river (not really how the sun goes down but the sky is still beautiful). There is a lot a tableware and kitchen hardware — shaker, sandwich maker, microwave, gas-plate, fridge, we really enjoyed the possibility to cook and make smoothies.
