Such a cute cozy mini cabin at the rooftop, with comfy beds and soft blankets 🤍🤍🤍 The wc and shower are top quality, very clean, and there is super nice hot water

The location and the host were perfect. It was very near to the Ella station and the hostel did served a very delicious breakfast. A must visit place for the budget travellers.

Sometimes there was no loo roll and the sink is in the room with the shower (not in the room with the toilet).

Great location and super helpful staff (they put up a tent for me, because they were fully booked when I wanted to extend one night). The balcony/terrace has a breathtaking view and the beds were comfortable. Absolute dream!

There are mosquito nets, but nevertheless you can still be bitten by mosquitoes.

Kasun was super nice. He shared tips on what to visit around Ella, where to eat, and how to travel around. Breakfast is under €1 and very tasty. The location is close enough to the city but also a bit high up to avoid the street noise.

The place is too close to the train station and the city center. It's close to go by walking to little adams peak and the bridge, and many waterfalls by bus. The hostel itself is amazing, the dormitory is clean, with comfortable and clean bed and blanket. Bathroom is clean and good as well, with hot water. The hosts are such nice ppl, gave me lots of tips and could have nice conversations as well. The breakfast is simply amazing, the best I had since I started traveling, for an awesome price and huge amount of good food, really worths. If I come back to ella, would definitely go there again.

Kasun and his team are simply amazing! Great hostel, pretty quiet, everything was clean, bed was comfy, breakfast was delicious! You have to book your bed with the breakfast ❤️ Kasun also has the best recommendations to explore Ella and is very helpful. A hostel can't be any better! I definitely would stay there again. Thanks for everything, I had an amazing time!

It’s a cozy little wooden house located near the Main Street of Ella. Kasun and Lanka are the nicest owners I’ve ever met, and the breakfast is superb!!

It’s a teeny hostel and I loved this quality about it. Kasun and Lanka were incredibly friendly and warm; it’s a shame I couldn’t stay longer. I’m grateful to have experienced their hospitality.

Some restaurant nearby was blasting music loudly, sometimes late into the night. Luckily it was good stuff, but you may need ear plugs.

Really chill atmosphere. Only room for 6 people, which is just perfect; not too much traffic and chaos, but easy to meet people. The location is fine, and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable, wifi worked, squirrels run around and the terrace is sunny. Breakfast was good! Cool psychedelic rug in the dorm!

I will highly recommend every backpacker to consider this place for once. It is run run by kasun who is a gem of a person. Never met such a humble host who is so much concerned about backpackers needs and always ready to help them. If I ever visit Sri Lanka again, I will definitely visit this place again

The walls of the rooms were moist, but I believe it was brought in by Ella's weather. In other seasons, this can be different.

The private room had a decent quality. The shared restrooms were spotless and clean. The kitchen was a great resource.

Part of the path towards the hostel has no road (basically dirt) so it’s slippery to climb (the hostel is on a small hill, but the view from up there is beautiful:) The entrance door to the hostel room makes a squeaky sound, so whoever leaves the room at night wakes everyone up:) The terrace is super nice with great views, but needs a bit of further development (chairs, couches, lights, music, sockets for laptop use etc). I felt there was common area and the right infrastructure/vibe where hostel guests can chill, work or interact.

The hostel is run by a very welcoming family who are always there for you if you have any questions. The location is about 8 minutes walk from train station and 5 minutes walk to city centre. The breakfast comes at an extra charge and is very tasty, especially the fresh made juice. A great spot to start your hike to the Nine Arches Bridge, Little Adam’s Peak and Ella Rock.
