The perfect overnight or airport transfer hotel. Pristinely clean. Everything is in good working order in the rooms. The staff are delightful, especially Michael, and the meal we had was delicious. Airport transfer was seamless. Totally what a traveller needs.

They don't sell wine by the glass. But not a big issue!

We only stayed here one night to settle after a long flight. But the management and staff treated us so well. They were available and helpful at every opportunity. Restaurant food was great. And the free airport shuttle is great too! We decided to stay again for the night before our return flight.

Super friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful room. Cute little pool with water feature wall. We enjoyed a few lion beers in the sun! Gorgeous flowers and birds. The rooftop view was breathtaking. Food was delicious especially the Sri Lankan breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay that began our Sri Lanka adventure.

The hotel was beautiful. I stayed here on my final night in Sri Lanka before going to the airport as a place to rest and have a little luxury before my journey home as for the rest of my trip I had been staying in homestays/hostels. The room was really spacious, the bed large and very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely too. Everything spotlessly clean. The staff were really great and attentive as well. Plus, the airport transfer was really useful and convenient. The hotel is close to the beach and lots of food places (although for convenience I ate at the hotel which was nice as well). The price of the room and the food is more expensive than most in Sri Lanka but this is obviously known before booking and especially for the quality of the room it is definitely worth it (and compared to a comparable room in Europe, it’s amazing value).

After seeing all the beautiful beaches on the west coast, we were disappointed at how dirty this one way. Not at all the fault of the hotel .

It was the best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka. The staff were very welcoming and we appreciated the free shuttle service between the hotel and the airport. The locations is great - we walked to the beach which was about 15 minutes away. Lots of restaurants around within a few minute walk.

We stayed two nights. We were warmly welcomed and felt at home throughout our stay. The staff is amazing and really care about helping make your stay in Negombo special. The room is nice and spacious and well equipped and the bed is so comfortable. Rooftop dinner and a Lion beer!! We had two excursions with Romesh and his tuktuk and they were both great. The lagoon and the town of Negombo. Delighted we stayed here. Thank you.

The air condition was not too strong, but with the fan it was o.k.

Nice and very cosy hotel.The room was beautiful and comfortable. The location is in quiet place, but few minutes from the main road. The hotel's pool is very good and very clean. They also give a shuttle to the airport or pick up from airport to the hotel.

Staff were friendly and professional. We were only staying ahead of an early morning flight and rested. We didn’t eat but expect food would be good too. it is quiet, clean and very comfortable. Staff was helpful as they carried our luggages to our room and they also prepared some lunchboxes for us as we had an early flight in the morning. Dinner was delicious, you should definitely try the chicken kottu. Pool was lovely with the massage corner and the wall which imitates a waterfall.

Very neat and clean hotel with modern interior. Staff was very attentive, friendly and extremely understanding and supportive regarding some problems we had with our credit card. The hotel is situated in a quiet street yet restaurants, convenience store and the beach are in walking distance. It is due to these facts that we booked the hotel a 2nd time before returning home. There is nothing I can fault about the hotel.

We arrived at the hotel around 1AM and were warmly greeted and shown to our room. After a long journey we were rewarded with a hot shower, cool aircon and very comfortable beds. The next morning we ate a delicious breakfast by the pool. We met Michael, a delightful and helpful staff member who enlightened us about Negombo and organised a tuk tuk tour to see the local sights. The Belmont is a chic boutique style hotel were the staff are friendly and very helpful. I will definately stay here again.

Everything, 2nd time here. This hotel is an absolute gem. Having stayed all over Sri Lanka this is by far the best I stayed in for consistently being good. Beds are comfortable, pillows great, staff lovely, and a very modern clean hotel.
