Really comfortable stay in this gorgeous house. Very comfy beds and huge!!! Great location 2 mins from the beach walking. Arranged the whale watching trip for us. Really good breakfast too!

Breakfast varied each day but they were happy to welcome suggestions and requests.

Loved our stay here - lovely room with the arched balcony. Very clean and everything worked as expected. Lovely large bed and a great retreat off the main area to unwind. Only a 5-10 min walk to the beach and all the restaurants. Very safe and secure and also safe to walk. Definitely recommend. Host was lovely and accommodating- they live on the ground floor and were always available if needed.

A bedside light might have been useful.. But otherwise it was fantastic.

I never give 10's. But this place gets mine now. Just behind the beach but away from the very busy main road. It was a lovely 3 day stay where I wish we could stay longer. Spacious bedroom good aircon & roomy bathroom with lots of hot water. Our room was facing the rear and very peaceful. Only disturbed by the peacocks in the morning! Highly recommend 👌

Great location for proximity to the harbour for whale watching and in a quiet area. Close to secret beach and the main beach. Spotlessly clean with private entrance. Lovely room with private balcony. The most comfortable beds of our trip! Lovely family serving great breakfast loved the lassi.

Here we felt very welcome throughout our stay - the hosts are lovely people. The room had everything we needed and breakfast was delicious. We liked that the accommodation is a little bit away from the city hustle, so it was very quiet and safe.

Brave Resort was excellent, close enough to the beach and food, but far enough that it was quiet and peaceful. Rangana and his wife were super accommodating and helpful, arranging tuktuks, snorkel trips, and even helped us with our souvenir shopping. Breakfast was really good as well. We would definitely stay again!

Nothing really

The location is perfect. Far enough from the city centre of Mirissa to not be bothered by loud music, but close enough to walk to the centre or the two beaches (Mirissa beach and Secret beach). There is a different entrance for the guests so you don’t have to walk through the lovely family’s home which provides you with some privacy. The host is very welcoming and will help you with all your questions. Breakfast was always served in time and was different every day. The room has airconditioning which you really need as it can be hot in Mirissa.

There was no wifi.

Location was only steps from the whale watching office and boat launch.the breakfast was large with perfectly cooked hoppers, yogurt, dessert, tea and fresh juice. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help you. The rooms were spotlessly clean, with a new firm mattress and the best pillows so far on our trip.

The room itself is quite simple (as the photos suggest) but don't let it put you off, it's a great little place to stay!

Brave Resort is the perfect place to stay for a quick trip to Mirissa! It's really well located, a short walk to the beach and two minutes from the whale-watching offices and main harbor. The room was clean, the bed was huge and the wifi and air-con both worked well. The host is an incredibly kind man who will go out of his way to help you with anything you need. He kindly took us to our next location in Unawatuna and suggested lots of other sites along the way. The welcome drink was delicious and the breakfast was fantastic

The braveresort is a lovely homestay offering 4 rooms, which are very clean and well looked after. The AC worked well, so did the wifi. We were welcomed with welcome drinks by the host, who is a kind and helpful person. We enjoyed chatting with him, listening to insights about life in Sri Lanka. We especially are grateful to him for arranging a scooter rental for us, which is quite a challenge right now. He also drove us to our next destination himself with his tuk tuk for a reasonable price. For breakfast, he made Mango lassis everyday which are to die for (thankfully he shared the recipe with us).He changes up the breakfast every day: omelette, pancakes, toast,… The location is perfect: a bit away from the noisy mainroad, but close enough to reach restaurants and bars by foot. We enjoyed our stay very much and can’t recommend staying here more!

My partner and I had such a lovely stay. Fantastic host and a great location, away from the main road so nice and quiet. Room was spacious with a great balcony. especially liked the huge bed. wouldn’t hesitate to book again. :)

The best guesthouse in Shri Lanka, we had so far! Very nice, friendly and humble host. The Room was new, clean, big ,with AC, fan, balcon and large toilet. Every morning we were served with different breakfast. Very tasty 😋 , every morning we had large glass of Lassi with ice cream and milk, it was delicious 😋 😀 😊 . It takes 5 min by walk to reach the beach. Amazing place to stay, we definitely will come back!!!
