Our stay in Casa Tikiri was fantastic. Every smallest detail of the decor complemented the whole experience. The outdoor shower provided a sense of event closer connection with nature. Good communication and friendly service. We hope to return there again.

A complete oasis in Ahangama. Casa Tikiri is a lovely place to stay, with an amazing garden, pool, sunbeds and restaurant. We stayed for two nights and the room was perfect. Comfortable bed and great outdoor bathroom and shower. The food in the restaurant was also great, we had dinner both nights, and the breakfast was also excellent (recommend the Sri Lankan breakfast). Great service as well!

There was a bit of an odd smell in the bedroom, possibly to do with pool or some plumbing issue.

Fabulous garden and swimming pool, your own private oasis hidden away from the hustle and bustle. The dining experience was excellent, especially their Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner, made not too spicy for us! It was delicious, as was the pasta. The bedroom had was quite small but beautiful decorated. Very comfortable bed and loved the outside shower.

After all the surfing and traveling, we wanted a place to relax the last few days. It was perfect. It was clean, quiet and the furnishings were well chosen down to the smallest detail. You don't have to leave the accommodation if you don't want to, as there is also a restaurant with delicious food. The staff were great and fulfilled our every wish. Ahangama is easy to get to and if you still want to surf, there are great spots nearby. Definitely recommended.

This place is just heaven!! So gorgeous, comfortable and well taken care off. Beds are really good, and the rooms have everything you need. You don't hear traffic, yet it isn't far from the beach. Staff is really friendly, and the food is great (yummie breakfast!).. This was the vacation in our vacation!

It’s a bit far from the centre of Ahangama (not a walk distance). But you don’t need to go out because it’s a very nice place!

There is a very good atmosphere at Casa Tikiri; everything is sooo beautiful and the food is also good. The staff and the owners, Stefano and Alice, are really kind and helpful. We had a very nice stay at this beautiful, perfect place and it’s all new!

I should have stayed longer.

The moment I came across Casa Tikiri I knew I had to stay here. And I was right: it is the most amazing boutique hotel I have ever seen. The property is a 5 min walk from the beach, the bus stop, and the the busy main road but it feels a world away. The owners Alice and Stefano are exceptionally nice and everything here exudes the love they put into this project. Staff is quiet yet friendly and helpful. Service is impeccable anytime. Both the common areas and the rooms are tastefully decorated, every little detail is special, curated and cozy. The soft color scheme and the light wood details are soothing and elegant. Bed linen and towels are the softest and feel luxurious on the skin. The open bathroom is the feature I loved the most: you cannot beat a warm shower during a tropical storm, surrounded by wet palms and banana trees. The lush tropical garden and the pool are the perfect oasis of quiet and relaxation. Food is to die for: Italians do really know best. Breakfast is outstanding, but so is lunch and dinner. I tried their homemade curry and it was honestly the best I’ve ever had. It is truly impossible not to fall in love with this perfect dreamy place.

We fell in love with this place the second we arrived and spontaneously decided to extend our stay. You can feel the love the owners Alice & Stefano put into this place. The entire staff is amazing and so is the food. We loved how quite the place is-perfect to relax all day at the pool. Also the rooms and the open bathrooms are an eyecatcher. We can highly recommend to book a stay here! We will definitely come back!

Only a minor point: Although the breakfast is great and more „fancy“ and special than in other places in Sri Lanka, in all other hotels we got fresh fruits as a starter, followed by some eggs - here you can „only“ select fruits as a main.

We had an amazing stay at Casa Tikiri, which is a wonderful heaven-like place. All is very thought through, clean and beautiful and we can only recommend to stay there. We even extended our stay for 2 nights, as we liked it so much. The hotel is only a five min walk to the nicest beach in Ahangama (both for surfing and swimming), but we also stayed at the pool often in the mornings. Although we were at first a bit unsure if we would like the outdoor bathroom, we enjoyed it and for some reasons, there have been only few moskitos there, so no need to worry. Staff and the owners are also great!
