We just arrived at night and it was perfect for our first stop in Sri Lanka. This place is really close to the airport and we had a warm welcome late at night. The owner of the hostel is super friendly and was sitting together with us the next morning and we were talking about our plans and he had a lot of recommendations for us- that was awesome! We definitely will come back before we will fly back to Germany :)

The place was nice clean and very quiet and calm. Mario the owner is very nice person that help us planning our trip in Sri Lanka and also let us stay to a later check out with no additional charge. The hotel is near a lot of green trees and it has nice local atmosphere. Very recommend!

Mario is good host. He is friendly & cooperative with me. Srilanka my first international trip. And I am very happy because my first day stay in Ceylon hostel. It's just near to Airport. Mario guide me to my next destination Sigiriya. Room was also clean & comfert bed I am recommend to stay with Mario.

If you active people not the best, far away the town.

Small family guesthouse with many rooms. Stuff is friendly and helpfully. Bed is big and comfortable, bathroom small, but clean. Air conditioner is dont have but have a electric fun. All inclusive so breakfast, lunch and dinner include so if you work online and don't want think the food in this quiet place is perfect. Wifi is really good. Tap water not good to drink but you can buy water $1 is 2 bottle. If you hungry cook for you just say in time what you want. Possible go the cheap daytrip if the weather is fine. Airport transfer available. Have close a bus stop to many direction.

Very convenient location if you’re arriving/going to the airport with very comfortable rooms and good wifi. But above all Mario (the person who runs it) is a great person, has lots of knowledge and helped us with lots of things. Really perfect place to start/end your trip - highly recommend.

It’s just about 10km from Colombo airport. If you arrive in late night, you can book the homestay owner to pick you up. The room is clean and big enough, the price is really a good deal.

Mario is a great host with some good recommendations. Awesome communication before our arrival. His hotel is conveniently located if your next stop is Kandy or Sigiriya. Not too far from the airport either - if you're lucky you can book Uber for around 1000 rupees.

Ants in my room, had no signal and was never told a wifi password so make sure you remember to ask!

Close to the airport, owner picked me up at 2am for $9 - probably could get cheaper at airport but puts your mind at ease for a late arrival! Owner was very helpful showed me the bus stop in the morning.

Mario, the host was super nice, friendly and helpful. He gave us very good tips about what to see around and also information about Sri Lanka in general. Regarding the accommodation, it's pretty new, very clean and very good located (close to the airport and also is easy to take the bus just in front of the hostel).The bed was comfortable and the room has a private bathroom. He provides breakfast with local food. We really enjoy our time there and we will be back for sure :) Thank you Mario, we wish you the best in all your projects!

A great first stop on your Sri Lanka trip. The rooms were basic but comfortable with everything you'd need. Owner is a genuine and helpful guy with good energy and really thinks about the guests. Did his best to get the wifi to work well as we had some online work to do. Really affordable for what you get - breakfast included. Will go back before heading to the airport at the end of our trip :)

This hotel is so easy to get to from the airport and when we arrived the host came to welcome us from the tuk tuk and led us to his place. The room was great value for money and we woke up to a nice cooked breakfast included in the booking! The host gave us lots of helpful information about Sri Lanka and then after check out he took us to the bus stop and waited with us until it arrived! Couldn’t have been a better stay here! Thank you☺️

Great value for money! It's close to the airport and the owner has many secret locations to go to which are perfect and less costly to be in. The airport transfer is also comparatively cheaper and rooms are very clean. Definitely worth staying in this place for a few days and explore the area here.

The staff is very attentive to guest’s needs. The host Mario is very helpful in organising tours. He makes it more than a transit hotel by sharing his local knowledge and inviting guests to explore around Negombo for a few days at a budget price. His effort to create a community vibe by inviting guests to sit around and share experience makes the stay even more fun. His own entrepreneurial experience he shared is nothing short of amazing.for a young man with a world vision. Accomodation gives you more bang for you bucks.
