Although the room is clean, the a/c is not clean so we had a cough throughout our stay. We used the fan instead and we felt better instantly. The food and drinks were overpriced compared to other cinnamon hotel we stayed in.

We liked that staff and facilities. Everything was good except for the food. The breakfast buffet was good- however we did not like the dinner buffet. We were hoping for some more plain western type food. It also did not cater for my daughter's Gluten free diet. It would be good for foods to be labelled with GF signs. For Sri Lanka we thought that it was expensive. It was the same price as in Australia.

The location of the hotel is perfect to stroll the beach directly for sunrise/sunset, to jump into the ocean or to hop into a boat for a tour. The beach directly in front of the hotel was well maintained in terms of removing rubbish and dead fish first thing in the morning. My room was as described and had a lovely balcony facing the beach and overlooking the pool (which was also kept clean). The restaurant served a great selection for breakfast. The hotel is close to numerous restaurants nearby for dinner options outside (if inclined).

It is a big hotel on the coast with all the amenities that you would expect. We were upgraded to a beach front apartment. Lovely room, efficient staff. Buffet food was typical big hotel catering. Very nice for one night

Massages were bliss but 200usd for 2hours of massage is too expensive for Sri Lanka Over priced food at the Crab Lack of management presence at the hotel Therefore there is a bit of “computer says no” from the staff Presence of dogs is a bit irritating but they were not aggressive and there are far more dogs outside the resort

I saw few getting into the pool without having a wash. This got to be stopped by strict controls. Should be fined $50-100 if some one gets into the pool without a proper wash. I think this needs to be informed to all when they check into the hotel. Time to control spreading of all diseases.

We got a beachfront and poolfront room with the best view of Trinco, and the breakfast was amazing. Additionally, there was a Shallow Sea, allowing guests to go approximately 30 meters into the sea
