Everything was perfect

The host was amazing. He helped me with everything and is very kind. The kindest host I met in Southeast Asia. Also the room is very spacious and the bathroom as well. Very clean and really good shower. The location is also perfect, not in city centre but walking distance. Breakfast also very nice. When in Kandy, don’t hesitate to book this guesthouse. The best you will get!

Bathroom was huge but not hot water in the night but with all the heat outside there was no problem.

The owner was amazing with us.. Took us on a tour.. book the dance show to us.. was amazing like everybody here in Sri Lanka.. the Breakfast was amazing and he was always tell us that if we want more.. He loved that stay on his place.

Great location, 15min walking from Kandy's centre. The room was very clean and comfortable and I had a great breakfast. The host was very kind and helpful, he arranged tickets for the traditional Kandyan dance show, which was great.

There was quite a lot of noise from the street up to about 11pm and again from early and if your a light sleeper it could impact on your sleeping. Just be aware of this.

Beautiful house and very clean. Bedroom was large with fantastic balcony. Owner was super friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Picked me up from the station and made cups of tea each afternoon. I loved sitting on the balcony watching the monkeys 🙊 play.

The budget room has cold water.

Suneth the host of the homestay is an incredible host. He manages the homestay by himself and he does it with great care and love. He helps with everything you need and he knows all about Sri Lanka so he can advice on anything:). The homestay itself is nice and clean, just outside the city center. Great value for the money. We taught Suneth how to play the card game Skipbo, so if youre traveling with Skipbo dont forget to invite the Host :). Thanks for a great stay!

Probably one of the best homestays we’ve stayed in during our trip here in Sri Lanka! The owner is the sweetest person ever, he would do everything to make you feel at home. Breakfast is delicious, everything home made! The location is perfect, a bit outside the busy and noisy city centre, but just a 5 minutes by tuk tuk! He also helped us and arranged a day tour around Kandy! Definitely 10/10 ❤️

The downstairs room is a bit cramped. The bathroom is accessed from outside (not joined directly to the room) and smelled like ammonia.

This place is the epitome of Sri Lankan hospitality and friendliness. In all of our travels we have never experienced the same level of genuine care and helpfulness. Suneth is so knowledgeable about all of the best things to do in Kandy and the surrounding areas. The breakfast is exceptional and Suneth even specially prepared us a breakfast that was gluten free. He genuinely cares about his guests as if they were one of his family. The location is an easy 15-20 mins walk to the lake edge and is in an area of the city where people want to talk to you because they're interested and friendly. Not just with motives to sell tours etc. like in the centre of Kandy. Would not hesitate to stay here again

Location a bit isolated.

Nice building in a residencial area. The rooms are big, nice and clean. Owner was really nice. Also the included breakfast was good. Location in a residential area close to road. A bit far from the city centre. Very good value for money.

Its a 20 min walk to the city centre. (There is no hot water for the Low-Budget-Room, but for us it was no problem!)

The owner was sooo friendly and always tried to help us! He even showed us around Kandy for a cheap price (touristic places). Price-Value for the Low-Budget-Room is so good!

Everything! The owner is recently widowed and takes such pride in welcoming and caring for tourists in his home. He made me a fresh juice on arrival and went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant stay. He helped me make some plans for the evening in Kandy and even drove me to the city centre for free. As a solo female traveller, he said that if I felt unsafe on my way home that I should call him too. He made me a lovely breakfast for an excellent price and we had a good chat before I left. I have travelled around Sri Lanka for a whole month now and this is the best homestay I have experienced. Most were amazing, but this one was by far the one that stood out the most for me!
