Wonderful place where you can rest and enjoy nature. Huts are built and hosted by two brothers, who give much attention and care to their guests. During the 3 hours blackout (due to government regulations) host apologized us 3 times, although it was not his fault. He stayed with us so that we feel comfortable and provided candles, torches and agregate. Traditional Sri Lankan breakfast is served on a terrace with Sigirya Rock viewpoint. In the moring you are woken up by singing birds. To sum up: Our best accomodation during 2 week vacation in Sri Lanka!

The restaurant was closed which is understandable as there is a national shortage of cooking gas and many places are closed as a result of this, i do understand however, i would have appreciated being told this in advance as i had not planned to eat in the town on the first evening due to the fabulous setting of these huts.

We loved the large room, the view was breathtaking and the area was really lovely with a small wood carver shop at the end of the road. The breakfast was really good as well.

I mean there's not much to dislike, be aware that you can hear nature in all it's glory throughout the night so bring earplugs if a light sleeper but didn't bother us, it actually added to the experience

The location and the view from the cabanas are amazing. You feel miles from anyone but yet you're walking distance to Sigiriyi. The room felt like we was in a rustic tree house but with the built in mozzie nets all around it was a lot less buggy than we imagined 😍 We ate dinner here one evening and it was the best curry we have had so far in Sri Lanka (been here 1 month) and the owner is so friendly & wonderful! He helped us arrange the elephant safari for far less than the "tourist prices" you get elsewhere and the experience was incredible. A really lovely place surrounded by nature, we would gladly go back anytime. Don't delay and book here, you won't regret it it's been one of the highlights of our trip.

In the night you hear the sounds of nature (animals) which is absolutely normal so don't assume its absolutely quite :)

Nothing. We initially booked just one night, but extended by a second night - best decision.

Rustic chalets in the middle of some fields with a great view of Sigiriya rock from the balcony. Comfortable beds. Lots of amazing jungle noise around you during night time (might even see an elephant roam around!). Very good breakfast. Extremely friendly and helpful owner - we left some clothes in our chalet when we left, and he packed them up and sent them to another hotel on our trip free of charge! We arrived late with some take-away food, and the owner provided us with plates and cutlery. He also organized good drivers for both local trips as well as our onward journey.

Amazing stay in the middle of the jungle with all the comfort you need. The host was sooo nice and the food delicious! If you want a great experience and be surrounded by the sound of nature, don’t hesitate to go there :)

It's just a bit at the end of the road, but therefore it's quiet end you have a nice view. So no problem!

The room is beyond amazing. It's spacious, has everything you need and it's made with insectfence so you can enjoy a fresh breeze without bugs and mosquito's. The view over the fields with crops is amazing. The host is really polite and happy to help you in any way you can. The fruit at breakfast is out of there own garden. It's most definitely worth it!!!

Not much really. The only mention would be the lack of water pressure, but that's an issue throughout the entire island really. Not just this place.

This place really lives up to its name and lived up to all our expectations. Comfy beds, cozy lighting, amazing little balcony and decent amenities. The staff is very friendly and the food was great (especially the Sri Lankan omelet). Excellent place, would recommend to anyone visiting Sigiriya!

The hosts are incredibly friendly. What started as a long time dream has turned into a reality, and this magical oasis sits on the back end of the family property. The mother cooks breakfast (and dinner if you want), so if you want incredible Sri Lankan food - stay here! from the balcony, we had this INCREDIBLE view of Sigirya Rock. The Hut was clean, comfortable, and had lots of hot water… it felt like we were in paradise in the middle of the jungle. wifi was surprisingly fast for being in a small village. village of Sigirya is a short tuk tuk ride away and is nice to walk through during the day.

Very calm and cozy place! It relaxed me a lot. The cottage is wonderful, it has everything you need and the owner was very attentive and helpful. Breakfast and all food is delicious! We felt taken care of throughout our stay.

What a beautiful hidden gem in Sigiriya! We loved every minute of our stay here and would definitely recommend it. Great host who has so much knowledge about Sri Lanka. You have to try the homemade rice and curry - it was the best we had during our trip. You can also see the famous lion rock from your balcony.

We told the owners that we would be arriving very late at 11pm and they waited for us and we felt the warm welcoming from the owner and his sister. The area they owned was pretty clean with home farms they are taking care of. The hut and its toilet were very clean with an incredible Sigiriya rock view the we woke up to see the clauds clearing.
