GermanyAs there is absolutely nothing to complain about. Just to highlight that you will be in an exotic country where wetness might not always be avoidable. The rooms have dehumidifications facilities.
The hotel is amazing, and we were really surprised that the review of 8,4 was given. Because of the feedback we were a little hesitant to go to that hotel but it exceeded by far all our expectations! The pools, the rooms, the service, everything was perfect! Recommend 100%. The best days of our stay in Sri Lanka.

Everything was good! We were lucky to spend the Sri Lanka New Year celebrations in the hotel, which was a very nice experience. All the staff was so nice, Lassan in the restaurant was very kind attending to our requests. The lady of the "hopper" even taught me how to do "hoopers"

we chose this hotel based on reviews and location (1,5 hours from the Colombo airport), facilities such as a big kids club, and quantities of pools. Everything in this hotel was amazing! the interior is stylish and thought out till the small details. Staff was friendly and ready to help at every moment. The food exceeded my expectations! it was absolutely delicious! a lot of seafood including fresh oysters, shrimp, mussels, and clams, grilled calamari, fish, and shrimp every dinner! a lot of options for the kids' menu. During our stay, the hotel was full of people and a lot of children, but it was quiet! The room is quite big. the bed is comfortable. We used a transportation service provided by the hotel (extra fee) to transfer around the locations.

KuwaitMy only critical feedback is 2 points which can be fixed. The housekeeping staff, very attentive but always in your face asking you about when you will check out, and mentioning that they have an off day tomorrow ect, hinting for a tip. This made us uncomfortable. The other point is the outdoor water sports, though part of the hotel they ask for cash, I never got a receipt for this. I would double check as I believe the guys working there is just pocketing the cash for themselves. Except for these small points, we had a wonderful stay at Cinnamon and will definitely be back.
Best hotel I have stayed in sri lanka to date. If you have a family, especially a toddler which is always a hassle to travel with, I would highly recommend this hotel. Service was impeccable and rooms, especially the sea view rooms where we stayed was amazing. I am also impressed with the sustainability initiatives I saw, very little plastic and solar panels. Well done cinnamon crew.

Amazing stay at Bentota Cinnamon in romm 2215 for more than 10 nights. Special thanks to : - Oshada/Prajantahit, the housekeeper for his amazing sculptures with towels, flowers and cleanliness - Sanduni, the hotel curator for giving us so great information on the hotel history and the visit of the presidential suite - Gayan, the waiter at the buffet restaurant for his kindness and efficiency - Pradeep and Chirath from the fitness center. I was able to discover new ways to work out thanks to them Tell them greetings from France !
