Lovely modern spacious room. Location was great. The staff were very friendly. Pool was large and clean. They offered a free drop off service to the airport and we managed to get a breakfast before we went which was very tasty.

Shower water was not hot enough, but lukewarm

The room was very nice, clean and comfortable! Very friendly staff, especially Jaan who made us instantly feel at home in Sri Lanka when we arrived. Lovely breakfast. Also very good arranged pick up and drop off at airport, thanks to our very friendly driver Chrishan!

We had no hot water on arrival due to the rain (solar panel). Not the best breakfast, but still works.

The place has obviously had better days. It's looking pretty tired and work out now and didn't seem very clean (dirty towels on arrival). No complimentary toiletries except tiny bar of soap. Non existent wifi in my room.

There were no toiletries in the bathroom and even though we paid for bed and breakfast we learned on the spot that breakfast is available from 7am (we were leaving at 6am to catch our flight). The wifi was not working in the pool area and strangly the safe in our room was also out of order.

We were staying only for one night, just before our departure. The room was clean, the AC was working, and the bathroom was really nice. The pool area was cute, and the beach or restaurants were nearby. We were happy that we were dropped off at the airport free of charge.

There was no safe in our room and the beach was a bit disappointing, which is not the hotel's fault.

Hotel Cloud 9 provided my wife and I a room with a garden as a view; in the garden, there was a pool. Hence, the view was good. However, we found the pool a little bit unclean as the water wasn't clear. We decided not to swim at the end.

The staff were friendly - they warmly welcomed us and smiled at us untill the end of our stay. The breakfast was great! We received fresh watermelon juice to start; we were asked if we wanted tea or coffee; then, we were asked how we wanted our eggs to be; finally, we were served delicious and heartily breakfast. It made our day.

Aside from the kettle, there was one yea bag and one sachet of coffee, but no milk, not even yucky UHT or even worse powdered milk. One the one occasion I did had breakfast, I asked about having some milk in the room, as it was available with breakfast, to be told that wasn’t allowed. Nothing was as available to buy at the hotel so nobody congregated there because they had to go out.

Large comfortable spacious bed, plenty of space in the room, shower was very good.
