Location is perfect .few minutes to the surf. The room is great value for money, has a nice bathroom with a hot shower. Hosts were really helpful, arranging airport ttransfers and even cooking some noodles for us when we arrived late at night We will be coming back here for sure!

We were welcomed so warmly by the hosts - they gave us thoughtful little gifts and were extremely flexible with us as our plans changed! Our room was quiet and had great air con, and the location was completely perfect - short stroll to the surf breaks but nestled away from the main road. Fantastic value, highly recommend.

Every single thing! Hosts are incedibly nice and helpful. Rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. Location is perfect, 5 minutes away from restaurants, small shops, great surfing spots. You can also order home made delicious meals from the hosts. Best place to stay at in Midigama!

Great hosts, clean room and bathroom, made you feel very welcome with coconut water and a beautiful gift on arrival. We stayed in 6 different hotels in Sri Lanka during our time and only here did we have a kettle with tea and coffee. Would definitely stay again. Thanks once again.

Nothing I didn’t like would highly recommend!

Shower and aircon worked perfectly, no mosquito net but also no mosquitos… everything was clean and comfy, owners often bring fresh fruit in the morning free of charge. Did laundry here which was cheapest I’d seen in Sri Lanka. Room also had plates, cutlery etc if needed, drying rack etc.

The best property I’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka! Friendly welcoming hosts and a great modern place to stay. Close to the beach but in a peaceful location. Good facilities such as A/C, hot shower, kettle, tea, and cutlery provided. So good I extended as soon as I arrived and saw the room!

Coffee Shade was everything we needed to feel at ease after a long day of travelling - comfortable, clean and very kind hosts. They think of everything, for example had 5l bottled drinking water available and send a pdf with such additional services at the end. Good communication and the location is ideal.

Loved our stay with Coffee Shade the apartment is cozy, clean and stylish. Location is perfect as its super quiet but only 3 minute walk to beach/surfspots. But the best part are the amazing hosts that are a lovely young couple that are extremely helpful with everything you ask and always have a smile to give. 10 out of 10 stay.

Everything in this property is very good. Spacious and very clean with very big bathroom. The location is just a the centre of Midigama but on the same time is very quite. The owners are lovely people and mafey stay even better. Can't recommend this place enough, would definitely come back.

I enjoyed my stay at Coffee Shade. The room was very clean, good space, big bed, nice bathroom and shower. Also there is a table and desk for working. When I arrived I got a coconut, coffee and a pen - which I think was really nice after traveling for a long day. I also got free papaya to my room one day which was so sweet. The owner is very good with communication and they do the best to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I was a bit worried if it was going to be a quiet place - but it exceeded my excpetations. Also the owner helped me to find scooter with surf rack and they also offer laundry. There is also a small room outside where you can store your surfboards. Also, I like how it is so green when I get out of my room. It also feels safe as they have a closed gate. It is a hidden gem. Thank you :)

This newly built accommodation was both comfortably and very clean. The location is great – just a few minutes walk from the centre of Midigama – and the staff were wonderful throughout our stay, helping us with everything from dinner to laundry (both of which were very affordable). The room is clean and looks perfect for short and long stay. Furniture is new as it was built recently. I asked once for bigger table and owner quickly resolved my request. The location is perfect (10 minutes on scooter to Weligama if you need something more). It’s enough distance from train and road to avoid the noise from it. Meanwhile just 3 minutes walking to the beach for lazy left surfing point. The beach nice as well to spend a day. Several cafe/restaurants nearby too. What’s more it’s possible to have a breakfast directly in the room. The place have nice breakfast options. The owner family is polite, responsive and make your time better. I really love morning fruits services to my room in the mornings.
